“Despite the neighborhood resembling anything but Gangnam in Seoul I enjoyed eating here. You won’t leave hungry that’s for sure. Really enjoyed the thin cut lamb shoulder, and the East Asian adjacent Japanese beers.”
“This is a very spacious Nandos that can really get busy on weekends. Service has always been good. There can be a bit of a wait sometimes as many uber orders are done from this store. But we've always had a nice experience dining here.”
“The roast duck on rice at their place is the best I've had in Auckland. The duck skin is exceptionally crispy, yet the meat is not tough at all; it's very tender and so juicy. The service of their staff is also very good. Every time, they greet me warmly.”
“Highly recommend their wontons! So big and full of filling and so Juicy. My go to is the honey chicken fried rice but I tried #3 fried kuai teow and it was sooo good. I added extra chicken. Decent ratio of meat to noodle and vege. Great hang over cure”
“The owners are really kind people, The food is also great. I recommend getting the Fried Rice, Sweet and Sour Pork, Egg Foo young, and the Wontons have a lot of meat in it.”
“The service was good, the food was served fast and they were all delicious. We ordered buttermilk fried chicken, Korean fried bird burger and a Japanese slaw. The kid even got a nice activity pack. Would go back to try other items for sure!”
“I think they need more staff because there's a lot of foot traffic, and as you can see in the photo, it's a bit dirty and gives the place a bad impression of hygiene.”
“Authentic Cantonese style Yum Cha ! The dim sum is the best that I had in Auckland so far !”

“This is my sacred Burger palace All the patties are cooked from fresh All the burgers are cooked with love Super juicy and delicious that will make you forgettable If you live in Howick you must come”
“Dude made mean pitas and breakfast burgers. Grilled whatever we asked for great service and quality food”
“This establishment was extremely clean and tidy and the recent renovations have really made this place feel great! The staff brought the food to the table and there is also a self service area for sauce, or ketchup as the Americans would say. I enjoyed the option of having a baked potato or nachos rather than just fries for a side. The milkshakes are thicker than Nicki Minaj.”
Farm Cove Takeaways favours a classic fish‑and‑chips mix with clear, clean flavours. Cuts are sliced to order with good pace. Fish lands crisp with light batter and chips stay tidy. Service stays present without fuss.
The kitchen at V Noodle Box takes a classic fish‑and‑chips path and lets the food speak. Serve sizes show solid value. Fillets arrive fresh and the fry stays clean. Front‑of‑house runs with calm, helpful energy.
Subway keeps things simple, bistro‑style and focused on flavour. Service stays present without fuss. Orders move at a steady pace. Portions are generous yet well judged. A sensible spend for the sprea...
“Always enjoy going here for a coffee. The staff are lovely, especially Lydia and David. People i work with have told me that Hollywood in Silverdale is there favorite café.”
“Delicious slamon slices and sushi. Friendly staff. Pricing is fair for quality.”
“This is such a banger! The reviews doesn't show justice to this amazing eatery! Located on the other side of the other food court, this place is quick with their service, very polite and really able to bring the native Filipino taste! My fiance being a Filipina herself and picky with her food, she managed to really love it and have a bloody decent craving acquired. For only 30 dollars (very cheap compared to Auckland), this is definitely worth every penny.”
“Not many cafes opened after 3pm in Wellington. This is open to 5pm is well run and good variety plus the museum what’s not to love !! Wheelchair and stroller accessible”
“Great experience and service. We had an accident, where my child spilt coffee on himself. The girls working were quick to respond and get cold water and care for my boy, as well as get him a new ice cream that he dropped. Thank you so much for the extra effort and compassion girls.”
“This restaurant have an all you can eat concept, but you have to pay in advance before you can eat. Take whatever you want and you have to scale the pot on the cashier. You can choose the spiciness levels. As an ✨certified Asian✨, I choose very hot. After that, the staffs will cook your choice. Once it's done, the staff will bring your food the the table. Bowl was very big! Yeah, it was delicious and satisfying!”
“Booked a twin room for my sister and myself while we stayed in Wellington to see a concert. Was so handy being right in Central Wellington, only minutes walk from everything. The pillows and beds were the most comfortable I've had in any hotel or motel I've been in.”
“Amazing!!! Best butter chicken in New Zealand and most flavourful vindaloo! However if you are looking for something really spicy and eat a lot of spice the hottest option may not be too hot! We loved that rice is in the cost of the dish and didn’t order seperate. Really busy so recommend booking ahead! Amazing for group events or families as wide range of options but not too many you can’t choose. Choice of spice levels allows you to adjust to how you like! Overall will be back it’s amazing!”
“We had a wonderful meal. Has a nice quiet ambiance. Lovely wait staff. Looking forward to going back soon.”
“I had a wonderful experience at the Indian Sweets and Snacks shop in Newtown. The food is absolutely delicious, and the sweets are beautifully decorated and always fresh. The customer service is excellent – the staff are friendly and genuinely care about their customers. On one occasion, I accidentally forgot my wallet at the shop. Later that evening, I called them and was relieved to find out they had kept it safe for me. When I went back with my daughter to collect it, the staff were so kind and even offered sweets to her. That thoughtful gesture really touched me.”
“So fresh even at 2am. The guy who works in the weekend at this time is always so kind. Tysm”
“Above and beyond service. Ordered a delivery, original Doordash driver returned to shop without delivering. Contacted the shop, when another Doordash driver wasn't available, they had a member of their own staff complete the delivery. Highly appreciated.”
“Really tasty fish, moist on the inside and crispy on the outside. The traditionally hand-cut chip tasted better compared to commercially made ones. Paua fritter is special. Definitely value for money … I paid around £5.50 in the UK for a piece of fish - visiting kiwi living in London! Will call again if I live nearby.”
