“I stumbled upon this studio by doing a quick Google search, only place that had the most 5 star ratings and I was not disappointed. I went in to get my first tattoo,with the intention of getting just one but ended up getting 2 instead. I was rather apprehensive but Jigs and the team made me feel so comfortable and it was a wonderful experience. Made me realise that just being artistically gifted is not enough to be a great tattoo artist, you need to be personable, approachable and welcoming and these guys tick all those boxes.”

Isaac greeted us warmly and was happy to take a walk in appointment, he was good with his communication and explained he was an apprentice. My cousin was very impressed with how professional he was and how he really listened to what she wanted. She was very nervous as the last time she had a tattoo was 15years ago, but he made her feel very comfortable and relaxed. She loved the tattoo so much and was very happy that the next day she went back for another tattoo. We were very impressed with him and will be recommending him to others.”

“Yesterday morning, I was helped by the beautiful Shona @ The Piercing Shop, Kirikiriroa. Shona has pierced me a few times and has always been a gem. Yesterday, she changed my conch jewellery to a longer bar to accomodate for the swelling - this piercing was done at another shop and was killing me! Throughout this process she was calm and communicated every step so I knew what to expect. She also pierced my bellybutton and took the time to line up the angle perfectly. The shop was starting to get busy, but she never rushed and always takes the time to answer my questions, give me thorough aftercare advice and makes sure I am okay after the piercing. “Great clean welcoming environment with some of the most talented artists. Nice people, clean bathroom...sadly not wheelchair accessible, enjoy the stairs getting in and out! Parking is a bit tricky but isn't it always these days? My suggestion is have someone drop you off, then pick you up when done! Totally loved my custom ink, would defs come back here! Totally recommend these guys for getting that art done :)”

Great price, even had a good banter with one of the workers and the manager took the time to explain why Brutus drove terribly and what was done to improve the drive. I will definitely be returning to these guys because I will drive away knowing what has been done with Brutus.”
