TERRIBLE returns policy. Ladies in the store were friendly and apologetic but for returning a dress less then 48 hours after purchasing it with it still in the packaging it was wrapped in, tag attached and not tried on since being in the store I was told I could only have a credit but if I brought it online I would get a full refund??? How does that make sense or make a difference to the dress being UNWORN. Now I have a $330 that I won’t use.

No one would consider Ruby a cheap store. Unfortunately the price does not match quality. It is highly disappointing to see a New Zealand brand rely on their name and reputation to sell such expensive, yet simultaneously, poor quality clothing. I purchased a $370 dress, when I wore it I noticed the extremely poor craftsmanship and finishing of the dress. I have literally seen a Glassons copy of this dress that looks much better - at 1/10 the price. I wore it once and when I went to wear it again the elastic in the sleeve had snapped. Confirming my assessment of the quality. Upon returning the dress and expressing my extreme disappointment in the quality, I was told someone would contact me in regards to this - no one contacted me. After 2 weeks, I contacted their online customer service team to relay my concerns about the dress, they refused to help me or even contact the store on my behalf and insisted I contact the store myself to deal with this issue. Extremely poor customer service. After these complaints I received a call from the store to advise me that I could pick up the same faulty dress (which had been "repaired", but remains the same low quality garment), without any mention of my concerns. I’m disgusted in the poor customer service and poor quality product. After speaking with my friends, this is apparently very common for Ruby. Ruby, do better. My one and only 1 star review.
