This was between the Christmas and New Year period when he was already busy with other customers but managed to make time for us, explain what was wrong and the process to fix it, all within the hour for a very reasonable price. “The team at Tikey's are amazing. I had electrical problems with my BMW. They even drove out to jump my car to take it to the workshop. They did an amazing job fixing my car all up, with a service and WOF done. Very clean workshop and great staff. I will definately recommend them. Go around for all your repairs and maintenance .”

I loved looking at all the different product for sale and the very friendly chap behind the counter was all too happy to fill me in on the flavours they would bring. “Our inter-city move with NZ Movers went exceptionally well. Couldn’t fault the work of this great crew led by J-L who was beyond spectacular in performance and was kind and patient and thoughtful to the end. It was a big day for us and the NZ Movers team of J-L and Josh who did truly amazing and committed work throughout the day with no let up in order to get our stuff all into the house in the one day. Josh also went out of his way to efficiently make sure everything that needed to be done was done well. Shane, the day labourer also deserves a positive mention for his noteworthy contribution to this successful day. We are very thankful to our team of 3 and by the end of the day everything had been moved to suitable rooms in the house. “This review is going to be quite long as the Lanark team have done a lot on our home and I want to make sure I don’t miss anything out. Lanark first came to our attention when we brought them in for a second opinion on a broken toilet that a different plumber had told us couldn’t be fixed. Donovan managed to get it working again that day and then made plans with us to come back in a few months to replace it at a time that worked better for us. The next project was an update to our gutters. I’d been trying for literally a year to get someone to come and give us a quote and kept being given the runaround by specialist companies who didn’t seem to take on our irregularly shaped roof. I eventually found a team willing to take the job on, only for it to quickly become apparent they were woefully unqualified to complete the job. In a passing conversation, my daughter mentioned Lanark does guttering and roofing, and again we got Donovan around for a second opinion. He was at our house within a few hours, where he pointed out many instances of unsafe and sub-par workmanship from the other team. He helped us navigate out of our contract with the other team and had his team on site within a few weeks with proper materials and the classic Lanark can-do attitude. The gutters look amazing now and have been performing excellently. When it was time to update our aging Heat Pump Lanark was our first call. The team were incredible, great advice, quick turn around and the new heat pump runs like a dream, so warn and quiet! Honestly, I wish we’d done it years ago. It’s gotten to the stage now where we get them around for any odd job we think of to make our home more comfortable. They were in last week to baby-proof our TV and move some power outlets; as always quick, friendly and impeccable finish. I can’t rate Donovan, Rhys and the team highly enough. The quality of their work is outstanding, and they’re genuinely a pleasure to have in your home, always respectful of our space, and nothing is too much trouble. Absolutely wonderful to work with.”

“The plants arrived in excellent condition. There were no broken stems, and the plants' leaves and flowers were fully intact. They are clearly strong specimens, entirely free of weeds, and perfectly hydrated. Each plant, with its excellent root system, is ready to be planted straight into the ground. I highly recommend their delivery service.”

“We have had so much fun here over the years that Animal Ark has been open, my kids love it and it’s it’s been wonderful to bring them somewhere to meet animals outside of our very grumpy old cat. The animals are always in great condition and happily pottering along waiting for some snacks. Owners/staff are really friendly, always explain the rules really simply and clearly to the kids. We’ve made so many cool memories here and I’m really grateful for that.”
