“Fantastic social dance scene in Christchurch for all ages. What I love about it is that you change partners frequently during classes and freestyle dancing so you get to meet a lot of people. The dance parties are usually packed so it's very social and the music's great! Modern jive is pretty easy to learn, they teach beginner and intermediate moves every class night, and you can take it as far as you like - intermediate-level social dancing, or get more serious and go to national competitions.”
