“LOVE LOVE LOVE annabels Avonhead, I moved over to this side of town for the school & preschool. 2 of my children have been there in the past 2 years , my daughter is still there and it’s amazing! The teachers are beautiful , they take their time with every child . My daughter feels comfortable and safe every day . I would highly recommend this preschool and have done to so many people .”

“My three youngest kids attended Best start Halswell road and I couldn’t have been happier with this team. The center is run by Kerryn, who is not only professional but is kind, empathetic and went above and beyond to support us as a whanau. The staff are absolutely amazing!! I could confidently go to work knowing my kids were safe and well taken care of. Thank you to the team for the outstanding services provided. A special shout out to Ayanthi and Tegan who are phenomenal teachers, who have helped my kids thrive and who my kids absolutely love! Five stars for sure!!”

“Our son has just started at Huntsbury Preschool and I couldn’t recommend it higher enough. He has settled in so well and that’s all thanks to the amazing teachers. They have been so kind and nurturing towards him. They really get to know each individual child and their whanau. What I noticed in particular is the wonderful ratios for children to teachers - It is a truly a special place, with beautiful teachers and a gorgeous natural, outdoor setting. We are so happy to have found Huntsbury :)”

“We are so happy with both the nursery and preschool. The teachers show such a genuine and caring interest in my children and are passionate about supporting their learning. My son initially struggled with friendships and the teachers did an amazing job at discussing this with me and supporting him to make friends. I will be sad for his time to end there when he goes to school, but am thankful my daughter can continue on there. I highly recommend Te Whare Rama Balcairn Street!!”

“I would give Casa a 100 star rating if I could. Both my children have absolutely thrived under the care of the beautiful team at Casa. All the teachers care for the children if they were their own and also provide encouragement and support to parents as well. The environment is nurturing, but also inspires creativity and makes learning fun. Also having the red zone as their backyard is a major bonus. If you can, I would highly recommend sending your child here!!”

“The education and care for our two children are Kindercare Bishopdale has been outstanding. They have both felt loved, secure, safe and have learned so much across the board. All teachers and staff are incredibly friendly and have always been strong on communication and creating relationships with not just the children, but us as parents as well. Nutritious hot meals are a great bonus (how lucky are the kids getting fresh fruit crumble out of the oven?!)”

“Portobelo has been a lovely early learning centre for my son, he looks forward to going every day, and enjoys the social interactions and activities. All the staff are super nice and really listen and understand my son's needs and wants.”

“We highly rate Portobelo! We have children in the preschool and nursery. We are consistently impressed with the caring, attentive, playful and professional nature of the teachers. There is regular communication on what activities the kids have been up to and each day at pick up they make an effort to let us know something special about their day. Their emotional and physical wellbeing is readily taken care of and the communication is efficient with regards to this. Our kids have developed bonds with their teachers and speak positively of them in our home, they really make it a great place. The set up is homely, yet modern, with great natural back yard with plenty of room - seperately for the nursery and preschool. Our kids strengths are supported, our boy is free to create amazing things and develop his problem solving skills. And our wee girl is provided with care she needs to develop independence. With regular events, we feel a part of the Portobelo community and it feels like a second family for our kids. If you are looking for a caring, enriching environment for your tamariki look no further!”

“Both of our daughters went to Kindercare Wigram from when they were 6months old until they started school. Every one of the teachers and support staff always made us feel welcome each day, staff were always approachable and the communication was amazing. Our girls were loved and cared for each day and their days were full of fun and different learning activities and opportunities. The transition to school from preschool was seamless and they were well prepared for school thanks to the amazing teachers at Kindercare. We have made lifelong friends from families at preschool and my daughters always love going back for a catch up.”

Moving from Sri Lanka and adjusting to a new community and culture has been a big journey for our family, and this centre has been an incredible support along the way. Deb’s Place truly welcomes children and families from all cultures and nationalities, creating an environment that accepts, nurtures, and celebrates diversity. It’s a place where children are encouraged to bloom socially, emotionally, and creatively. We have seen Arya grow in confidence, imagination, and happiness since joining. The management and teachers are warm, professional, and highly qualified. They provide not only excellent care and learning experiences for the children but also reassurance and support for parents. “Beststart has some of the most calming and easy to communicate stuff members. Their goals of early childhood education is clear and direct and easy to follow along with, especially for the growth of your children.I would recommend highly to anyone who needs a pre-school/Daycare. One thing I struggled with was money but Best Start offers affordable daycare. Very thankful to have them so close to home ♡”

“My children have been involved with this music school for over three years now. Their classes are a highlight of their (and my) week. The teachers are friendly and talented educators. The rooms are warm, bright and welcoming. As well as having fun their musical aptitude is going from strength to strength. My five year old plays piano with both hands. My seven year old can finally sing in tune. The Chch Music Academy classes are great value for money and an asset for the children of Christchurch. I love the easy parking too:)”

“We visited a lot of daycares in the area and chose the YMCA because we loved the community feel. The kids are always out and about, taking part in activities and visiting places like the gym, library and park. Our daughter took some time settling in but the teachers have been wonderful with her and now she has really found her feet and has made some great friends. We love the Y :)”

“My now 5 year old spent over 4 years at Annabel’s before recently starting school, she loved her time there she had great bonds with her teachers and peers. My 1 year old is still in the nursery and he loves his teachers they have great ratios and form a close bond with their key teacher. We have been very happy with Annabel’s and the staff! The new centre manager is doing a great job and is supported by a great team of teachers.”

“They have a nice big play rooms and lovely teachers. My son loves to go here and he loves his teachers. I am at peace whenever I am at work knowing that my son is very well taken care of. I like the idea that they are serving healthy meals to the babies, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. Because not all preschool are offering free food. I love how my son is going home with new learnings that he is showing to us. If ever I would have another baby again, I will definitely enroll in best start again ❤️”
