“A great little children's play area. Safely fenced with a variety of play equipment, including a fantastic curving slide - I know cos grandad had to have a good too. Our 2½ year old granddaughter loves going there but older children would enjoy it too.”

“The best rugby! It was awesome to see the Crusaders Team training. Great people running for a good cause, "The Long Run". So nice to see a big community give their best to support the ones in need. I can't wait to be there next time!”

“Great sports park to walk in. No benches but fantastic to have a safe walk/run area. They have soccer in winter and I think I saw the groundsman mowing the lawn for cricket the other day. Nice open space surrounded by lots of beautiful housing”

“Great small suburban Park with gas BBQ on site. Small half basketball court and a small play area for young kids. Enough room to kick a ball or fly a kite.”

“Great location for our one night stay, the hedges provided brilliant shelter from the strong winds. The children there made great use of the playground. Good showers even though they are not new. Small swimming pool for the children would be so welcome today in the Nor'wester 31 degrees.”

“Good small park for walking dogs. They also added a nice 300m track, without too many holes. Great place to practice rugby. Quite far from the road and sheltered with trees making this park nice and relaxing. It's not very busy either and it had a nice playground. The footpath does need some repairs because when it rains there is a massive puddle where you have to go in the muddy grass to go around it, so not ideal. But other things make up for this.”

“5 stars! I would happily pay double the ticket price. Our kids were enthralled as were the adults. This review is based on the event and the lights being absolutely incredible. Its a shame some people give 1 star reviews because of 1 bad staff member. We interacted with about 50 people, they were all nice”

“We came here for a friend's birthday party and it's a great set up. Lots of different inflatable options for the kids, food and drinks available to buy, but can also byo and lots of tables as well.”

“Fabulous country racecourse. Always a fun day out. Lots of places to park up with a picnic or sit in the stand. Exciting times at the races if you go to Rangiora racecourse”

“Manuka Cottage is there! A Communtiy Centre where affordable activities bring people together. A safe space to develop social relationships, participate in any number of activities, or simply sit and enjoy a hot drink, read the newspaper...... go and check it out!”

“We had a lovely breakfast, Emma service was fantastic she was very accommodating for us and our daughter. Makes a killer coffee and we loved the shrimp roll. Really lovely atmosphere. Would head there again.”

“Wonderful place to bring family and friends! We had an (arctic) blast last time we went, had a lot to do and see with all the activities and shows althroughout. Please note though that rides do have a height requirement which they are a bit strict with for safety reasons. The rest are pretty accessible to the young and young at heart. A bit pricey but you doget a lot of enjoyment and knowledge out of it.”

“So cool! Good value for money! Had a shuttle if you didn't feel like walking. Lots of cool animals to see. Even got to feed the giraffes! Very ethical place no forcing the animals to interact it's all on there terms. Plenty of very friendly staff and awesome guides.”

“Wouldnt ride anywhere else, absolute quality instruction with fantastic well cared for horses. They even offer riders the opportunity to compete on their horses which is awesome. You not only learn how to ride, you learn everything from horse mastership, grooming , how to lunge correctly etc.”

“I would give more stars if possible. We just had our sons birthday party there today and it was a blast. The party room was set up before I arrived, I was also able to arrive before the party to set up our theme decorations. The staff are super friendly and great with the kids. And all the kids loooooved running around and jump in the play area. I recommend to all who are keen. Amazing place will be coming back for more fun again.”
