It wasn’t until we moved overseas that we had to say goodbye, which was truly bittersweet - and we still miss it. The staff at BestStart Redwood have been absolutely incredible. They created such a nurturing, safe, and joyful environment that gave us peace of mind every single day. After each drop-off, I walked away knowing she was in great hands! “Fantastic centre, the teachers are invested in our child's educational and emotional wellbeing. Our daughter loves to attend here and the team were supportive and gentle during her transition to preschool. Our 2 yr old currently attends Lyttleton St and this is a great environment for her because the centre only allows up to 3.5yr olds. So my child is with children her own age rather than being in a space with up to 5yr olds.”

“Amazing actors in the play 'The Crucible'. Not knowing the story I was surprised it was close to 3 hrs long.”

“Ideal for parties and family activities .. large grassed area fenced off at the back of small, uncluttered hall. Kitchen, chairs, and tables available. Can hire for the day.”

“Really nice walk up to the top of the adventure park! Can be quite steep at places especially as you head towards the end. We visited just after the park had re-opened from the recent Port Hill fires and we stopped off to look at the full extent of the damage caused by the fires earlier in the year. No cafe or anything like that to be found at the top but great views that rival the views from the Christchurch Gondola. You're even able to have a free ride down on the chairlift if you've managed to make it up to the top!”

“We came here for a friend's birthday party and it's a great set up. Lots of different inflatable options for the kids, food and drinks available to buy, but can also byo and lots of tables as well.”

“Wonderful place to bring family and friends! We had an (arctic) blast last time we went, had a lot to do and see with all the activities and shows althroughout. Please note though that rides do have a height requirement which they are a bit strict with for safety reasons. The rest are pretty accessible to the young and young at heart. A bit pricey but you doget a lot of enjoyment and knowledge out of it.”

“So cool! Good value for money! Had a shuttle if you didn't feel like walking. Lots of cool animals to see. Even got to feed the giraffes! Very ethical place no forcing the animals to interact it's all on there terms. Plenty of very friendly staff and awesome guides.”

“I would give more stars if possible. We just had our sons birthday party there today and it was a blast. The party room was set up before I arrived, I was also able to arrive before the party to set up our theme decorations. The staff are super friendly and great with the kids. And all the kids loooooved running around and jump in the play area. I recommend to all who are keen. Amazing place will be coming back for more fun again.”

“Love how they have automatic ball dispenser, if that is what they call it. And so cheap. Not many people go here so it'll be a chill game and they are open until late afternoon. They have mini golf and different courses. They have a cafe too, I think they closes late too so you can enjoy beverages and foods until you had enough. The prices of their drinks are affordable too, I got a can of coke for 2.50 I think. You should try and go here. Golfing with good scenery is a bonus too.”

“We had a lovely breakfast, Emma service was fantastic she was very accommodating for us and our daughter. Makes a killer coffee and we loved the shrimp roll. Really lovely atmosphere. Would head there again.”
