“My 1 yr old daughter attends 'Froggies' and absolutely loves it! The team there are attentive, kind and have helped her grow and learn so much over the past 6 months. Would highly recommend to any parent looking for a childcare centre in East Auckland”
“My daughter attended the Royal Oak Learning Centre for about six months, and I couldn’t be happier with how much she’s grown. Moving to a new country was a big adjustment for her, and this was the first learning centre she attended here. Naturally, she felt a bit uncertain at first, especially since her English was limited and only one other child spoke Chinese. What really stood out to me was how the centre handled her situation with such care. They arranged for a Chinese-speaking teacher to support her, which made a world of difference in helping her feel secure and understood during that challenging time. The teachers are not just skilled, but also genuinely caring. They really take the time to get to know each child and their needs, creating a warm and nurturing environment where kids actually look forward to learning. Thank you to the entire team for making her learning experience so enriching and enjoyable!”
“My daughter attended Our Kids Glendene from 10 months old until starting school. The level of care she received was consistently excellent. The team clearly care deeply for the children at this centre, and have been easy to communicate with at all times. My daughter has been well supported in her emotional and social development and the team have established a strong foundation for her learning journey. She has happily started school as a confident and well-rounded girl, which is in large part thanks to the team at Our Kids Glendene.”
“I’ve sent both my girls to Busby over the last 2 years and it’s been the best decision for our family. Not only do our girls absolutely love the staff, us as parents, have also formed an amazing bond with the teachers. We really couldn’t ask for a better daycare. Alexia and Allie have been so easy to deal with and they create such engaging activities for the kids. Both my girls have learnt so much and absolutely love going. It’s very comforting to know the girls are always in good hands. I can’t thank all the staff enough.”
“My boy was at ActiveExplorers from 6 months old to 2 years. We moved out west so had to transfer but it is a lovely daycare with wonderful staff, warm and welcoming teachers. We liked their kaupapa and instilling tikanga in our tāmariki, with regular catch up events for parents and teachers that includes nibbles. They are connected to the community and have plenty for the kids to do, including guests who come in including emergency services or song and dance. All the children there are lovely and you can see they are all happy. It’s a lovely place and though it’s on the pricier side of daycares, you will feel safe and comfortable with your child there. Edit: I forgot to add that we were very impressed with the hygiene and cleanliness. You can see they put so much effort into ensuring ailments don’t spread as much as can be controlled. They have a high level of care that goes into ensuring the children’s health and wellbeing.”
“I visited many centers with my two children before settled at magicland Childcare. The single biggest thing that made me click was their open door policy, unlike many other centers, I was able to spend time with my kids till they were able to wave bye bye to me confidently, without tears, my younger one was turning two and my older one was turning four when they first started. Technically they should have gone to separate rooms, but owner made exception to help the process. So they were able to spend lots of time playing together and it built confidence for them both. Now they still play together and also have their own friends. I changed their sessions a few times and the owner and teachers are experienced and approachable and willing to adapt to my needs. I have come across some highly qualified professionals in the ECE field but when you want someone who is ready to listen and help, there aren't many out there, and here is one of the few.”
“I have absolutely loved Ako Adventures. They watched 2 of my children and they grew and thrived in their environment. It was sad that we had to leave due to relocating, but if we were in the area we would definitely come back! All staff were amazing towards me and my family. We thank you so much!!”
“Two of my girls attended Howick Baptist Kindy and we absolutely loved the experience. We were always greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. I appreciated the integration of faith and learning, and my kids had so much fun while at the kindy. The other families whose kids attended HBK became close friends and have remained so. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone”
“Absolutely love Acorn and has been amazing for my 2 children... Catherine who runs it genuinely cares for all the children and wants to make it a great environment for pre school development with the right mix of fun and learning. They have a 4 year old programme run for 4 year olds (as you'd expect) and is designed to get them ready for school with some of the elements of school... this is a perfect intro for my daughter who got an award at her first school assembly for settling in so quickly. The Christmas concert they put on is also a yearly highlight... and even though I'm off work this week and my son could stay at home, he has wanted to go to Acorn to play with his friends each day... I highly recommend Acorn to anyone considering a ELC in Auckland!”
“Leo had a wonderful time at the Little Earth Montessori, filled with laughter, learning, and new friendships. Leo felt happy and safe, thanks to the caring and dedicated staff who supported him every step of the way. Their warmth and enthusiasm made his daycare experience truly special. We are deeply grateful to everyone who helped him thrive and made his time at Little Earth Montessori so memorable.”
“I want to come back because I left for a bit but when I come back I want to be able to ride bitless and without a whip but Maria is the most supportive instructor that I have ever had which is why I want to go back I love horses I just don't want to ride with metal in the horses mouth or hitting the horse with a whip thank you if you read this I don't want to say this to her face because I don't want to come of as rude so could you ask the people you are teaching if they want to ride bitless thank you for reading this :)”
“Great facility and awesome coaches! Loved my experience”
“Most amazing dance studio. Fantastic teachers and great vibes all around!!!”
“I saw a performance by NZDC last night at the Fall For Dance North International Dance Festival here in Toronto, Canada. The work presented was “Sigan”: Wow - this was a stunning piece of dance which showcased the best of dance and dance-theatre today; technique, craft, musicality, artistry, synchronicity, tension, form and sophistication. New Zealand, a place I called home for almost five years, and where I spent almost half my dance career, should be very proud of their Auckland-based modern dance company. Shona, congratulations to you and the entire artistic and technical team! New Zealand is clearly still at the forefront of international dance and you can all be incredibly proud of what you are doing!”
“This Bible college goes above and beyond in equipping and raising pastors with utmost care and support. I was warmly welcomed into a nurturing and inclusive community. The faculty and staff at Grace Theological College are not only highly knowledgeable and experienced, but they are also genuinely passionate about imparting their wisdom and guiding students. The courses are thoughtfully designed to provide a deep understanding of the Scriptures while developing critical thinking and effective pastoral skills. One aspect that sets Grace Theological College apart is the personalized support they offer to their students. The faculty members are always accessible and approachable, providing mentorship and guidance every step of the way. They truly invest in the growth and development of each student, fostering an environment where questions are encouraged, and doubts are addressed with care. If you are considering pursuing pastoral ministry and seeking a Bible college that combines strong academics with compassionate support, I highly recommend Grace Theological College in New Zealand!”
“I was lucky enough to go to this place and live under the cloak of the leaders there. This is the āhūru mowai who learned the language and the thoughts of the Māori world, love without limits and true wānanga.”
“The greatest little school in the universe with the most amazing teachers and staff.”
“I am beyond thrilled with the care and attention my child receives at St George! The staff are incredibly warm, professional, and genuinely passionate about the children's development. The facility is clean, safe, and full of engaging activities that keep my little one excited to attend each day. I love getting the updates on my child with photos and stories everyday. It’s clear they are dedicated to fostering a positive environment for learning and growth. I truly feel confident and at ease knowing my child is in such great hands. Highly recommend! will be sending my second when he is old enough!”
“Amazing kindy. Great owners. Definitely recommend.”
“Very good kindergarten, the children are very happy to play there every day, rich indoor and outdoor entertainment facilities, and the teachers arrange different activities every day, and there is also a handicraft room for children who like handicrafts to find their own fun. Children can also have their own small plants, cultivate and grow together. Please don’t forget the toys in the sandpit. Even if it is raining outdoors, children can sing happily indoors. A very loving kindergarten.”
“Our Grandson has so much fun and everyone is very friendly”
“I went here, only fond memories of the few I have”
“So welcoming and friendly. Quality resources for tamariki.”
“Love St Andrew's and our wonderful Aunties! Great school and learning environment for our little ones and more importantly, biblically based. Highly recommend!!”
“My kids love coming here every week. It’s such a fun supportive place to spend time with them.”
“My son currently goes to this kindy and absolutely loves it! All the teachers here are fantastic and so supportive - they are the reason why this kindy is brilliant. I feel comfortable walking in and having a chat to any of the teachers. The programs are great - the kids even learn yoga on Tuesdays! This kindy celebrates all kinds of cultural festivals - Diwali, Chinese New Year & Matariki. There is always something going on. I really like the smaller number of children to teacher ratio and the community feel this kindy offers. My son has made some lovely friends and it's been great getting to know the parents. The new playground is super cool!”
“This is the best place to keep your kids when you are full-time working parents...They take care of my kids like there own and my son love going to the daycare... beautiful people and very safe environment for the kids....thank you guys for taking tc of my lil man :)”
“We like KU because of the big and little people that make it what it is.”
“I have been a student of Ayana's for three years now and can honestly say that if it weren't for her lessons, I wouldn’t have reached my current level of Japanese, or been able to maintain my Japanese in my adult life. Ayana is flexible and willing to change lesson plans on short notice to suit my needs, interests, and time commitments. She is a very positive teacher and I always feel excited to start a class with her. She is also very good at taking each student's individual goals with Japanese into account in her lesson plans. Thanks to Ayana, I have now reached a conversational level of Japanese and am going to take a working-holiday in Japan this April. I feel I will be able to take full advantage of this experience because of the strong foundation in Japanese that Ayana has given me. If you are interested in starting to study Japanese or are looking for a push to reach the next level in your Japanese studies, I could not recommend Ayana more.”
