He is a wonderful guitar teacher, extremely knowledgable and very patient (especially with one who has picked up habits from other ways/styles of guitar playing). He requests high standards from students, and this is done with gentle persistence and a lot of humour. John is always very accommodating with his time, diligently in contact by phone, email and text when arranging lessons to suit, and very kindly offering make-up lessons when the situation appropriated the requirement.”

“Parakai Kindergarten is a place where you child feels safe, seen and gently encouraged to build their confidence. My son had spent the last 3 years there before turning five and moving to school. Even though he’s moving to school, and his teacher is going to be his mum he still wanted to stay at kindy where “he was so happy”. I feel that the teachers deep love and respect for their tamariki is illustrated in my son’s statement as he was so sad to leave his favourite place. Kindy isn’t just a space place for the children but a space for the whole family to be connected to the thriving community and culture that envelopes Parakai Kindergarten. As a mother and a teacher I could not recommend Parakai Kindy enough and only wish I had sent my older son there too.”

“Coatesville Lollipops is an outstanding daycare. My son has been attending since he was 1.5 years old, and we've loved every moment. We chose this daycare for its wonderful country vibe and the strong, caring relationships the teachers have with the children. My son is always excited to go, and he’s constantly discovering new things. He especially enjoys the activities like baking, gardening, messy play, and arts and crafts.”
