Moved my daughter to Gumboots in February this year and absolutely blown away with my experience there as a parent. When she started we were seeking speech therapy support privately and she had just been through a challenging few months. I am absolutely blown away at how in only a few short weeks my girl not only flourished in her language skills and has since been discharged from her speech therapist this month because of her amazing progress, but we also have seen her flourish in so many other areas too. I look back on the short time that she's been there and I'm blown away with the professionalism, the quality of care and how much passion those teachers have for the children. I have gone from being worried about how ready my child would be for school next year, especially with her language delays, to excited to know that when she turns 5 she will thrive. The teachers at Gumboots are truly amazing—informative, loving, and always ready to communicate transparently about everything. Initially, I was quite nervous, but I quickly became comfortable with my son going after seeing how much he absolutely loves it here. The teachers are always welcoming and create a warm atmosphere. I am particularly impressed with the safety measures in place, which make me feel very secure sending my son there. Gumboots also maintains a super clean level of standard. The classrooms are bright, clean, and filled with age-appropriate toys and learning materials. The outdoor play area is fantastic, there's plenty of space for the kids to run around and explore. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our experience at Gumboots. I highly recommend Gumboots to any parent looking for a high-quality daycare. We are so lucky to have such an awesome centre in our town.

A truly caring place. Our second and third children both went to Gumboots, We were not aware of it for our first. Richard welcomed my second at 13mths and fitted her in to help me out after she experienced a bad settling at another center. Richard then fitted in my third at 10mths after I attempted to start him at a center closer to home. I travelled over 30mins one way to take my children to Gumboots. Richard did all this knowing I was moving my children to a Montessori at 2yrs old, he never judged, just supported. We experienced both Booties and Junior Boots classrooms. The teachers are caring, affectionate and playful. Most comforting is that they are consistent, the routines are solidly established, my children comfortably went to, ate, and slept supported by several teachers (as well as team members who work in admin and the kitchen - one big team where the children’s needs are the focus). Their outside facilities are exceptional by todays standards; large areas with real grass. We have now ended our journey at Gumboots, we leave with amazing portfolios of photos and stories of our children’s time there. We highly recommend a visit, the team will do the rest.

We had both our daughters enrolled there from the age of 2 to start of school, both were prepared in our eyes to the highest expectations of school entry, our girls were spoilt with outdoor excursions including farm animals with a vast enclosed play yard. we felt that even though it's a family run business both our girls were extemely loved by all the staff and we made some amazing life long friends, we can't recommend them enough to any parents thinking of them as an option.
