“First time coming here after driving past a few times each week Would give 10 stars if I could ! ! Came in Thurs 10th July midday for some takeaway lunch & coffee , staff ( 2 x young women ) were friendly & made The Best Flat White ! Had a sausage roll which was Excellent and could tell was made in house Definitely stopping in more I’m an ex barista (15yrs experience) and generally have high expectations but mostly receive below average coffee So it was awesome to receive an amazing Flat White from the Barista at Karaka General Store & Cafe Thanks so much”

“My family had brunch at this cafe on 4 Jan 2024 after attending church at Tyburn. My son wanted to go to Cornwall Park so we decided to dine here given its location. The mochaccino was delicious. It is obvious that the barista makes the coffee with love and passion and we could taste it with every sip. My family had eggs benedict, scrambled eggs and waffles all of which were absolutely exquisite. Im glad we tried this cafe. We’ll definitely be back! Much love to the Tasi Cafe team.”

“Had one of their award winning Steak n Cheese pies. It was everything you'd want from a pie - flakey pastry on top, soft on bottom, delicious flavours, tender steak, golden on top. Not the cheapest at $7 but definitely worththe stop if you're after a good pie.”

“I'd like to express my gratitude to have such a nice cafe out there. Definitely warm and welcoming atmosphere. The value for the money is unbeatable, considering how prices have raised in the sorounding areas. I've started having medium flat whites and the size is big, price is great. Today I've eaten a nice toast with 3 ingredients of my choice and it was well made. Please note that the approach is a homemade dish, which is great. I don't tend to go to places to see MasterChef decorations to justify high prices. What I do care is flavour, quality of food and service, not to mention the price. So this is the place to go for me and I've become a regular. I'm quite surprised that this place isn't packed, but hopefully you read this and support this business.”

“In the heart of Auranga is a boutique cafe, Better Way. Owned by a lovely couple Nick and Peony, they serve the finest Allpress coffee along with a selection of Noble & Savage teas. There’s a small selection of sweet and savoury goods, definitely need to try the cookies if you’re around. Did I mention they also have Duck Island Ice cream!!!?? What’s better than visiting Auranga getting duck island Ice cream!”

“Best little cafe in Auckland, we are foodies and struggle to find a good little eatery but have finally found a local little cafe that's absolutely satisfying. As I mentioned to Maria our Maori/island cooks are some of the best , pure love is tasted in the food and it makes me proud to see our indigenous people thriving on the shore.
