    I'd like to express my gratitude to have such a nice cafe out there. Definitely warm and welcoming atmosphere. The value for the money is unbeatable, considering how prices have raised in the sorounding areas. I've started having medium flat whites and the size is big, price is great. Today I've eaten a nice toast with 3 ingredients of my choice and it was well made. Please note that the approach is a homemade dish, which is great. I don't tend to go to places to see MasterChef decorations to justify high prices. What I do care is flavour, quality of food and service, not to mention the price. So this is the place to go for me and I've become a regular. I'm quite surprised that this place isn't packed, but hopefully you read this and support this business.

    Ate Breakfast here last week. Was very quiet 8am Saturday morning. Food is quite cheap but took quite a while considering our table of two were the only people there. Food was average but felt like food you would cook at home for breakfast.

    Best value and best tasting flat white in Birkenhead High Street. I drank there several time over our stay and the flat white was perfect. The right temperature, strength and smoothness even in their jacuzzi size bucket mug for only $5.50! A delicious bargain.

    We thought this would be good based on the reviews, but we were disappointed! For a start, it was very cold (and uninviting). Hot chocolate was too sweet and the coffee wasn't great either. The fish pie seemed to be a bit too sweet as well for some reason and was made entirely of tuna (don't order it). My wife had the BLT which was not bad (although nothing special to it), but we thought it was overpriced for what it was. Maybe they were having an 'off' day but we left feeling disappointed.

    Err.. I feel like I’ve missed something. New management but same menu perhaps? Google reviews lead me here. Coffee was good. Place wasn’t at all busy - we really should’ve taken this as a hint - yet the food took a while to come out. What they think is creamy mushrooms, is really sautéed with maybe a teaspoon (or less) of cream on dry toast. Needed plenty of seasoning. Looked to be only 5-6 mushrooms, sliced. My partner ordered an omelette, it was very bland. I asked for extra butter for the toast, we needed an axe to slice it. A good cafe has soft butter, ready for anything. Especially flavour!

    Superb value for money! Multi grain toast, bacon eggs and a small coffee for $10! And the coffee was very good, the bacon was nice and crispy and the poached eggs were perfectly cooked. The decor is a bit tired, but was clean and the people were friendly.
