“My friend recommended Daystar as their daughter was already attending and they only had positive things to say. This was the best decision my husband and myself made. We’ve tried two other daycares prior to Daystar and the difference is night and day. Daystar has the warmest and loveliest environment that you can ask for. The teachers are full of experience and are all very lovely with the little ones, whether it is ranging from growth and development or assisting with personal tasks (nappy training, nap times, medication etc) they are very supportive and communicative when it comes to doing what’s best for the little ones. We always felt safe leaving our boys in their hands. Both our boys, enjoyed their time greatly and have developed critical skills required for their next stage in schooling. The environment is clean, tidy and comfy with a garden like backyard for outdoor play and exploration. Daystar is also very culturally diverse and reflective of New Zealand culture, providing a wide variety of experiences to different cultural events and learning about their celebrations. Our youngest son will be graduating soon and we will surely miss our time here at the Daystar family as we could always count on the consistent excellent support throughout the years. “Biggles is an excellent daycare. My son has been attending for 18 months and my younger son will start next year. The staff are a cut above the rest! They are caring, genuine, down-to-earth, good-natured and really engage with the children, setting up lots of activities every day that are both fun and educational. They’re also not afraid to get messy! Biggles has a homely, welcoming feel, perfect for making little ones feel at ease, and a huge outdoor space, particularly for the over twos. Communication with parents is good and you get photo updates throughout the week of what the children have been up to. Having looked at quite a few daycare centres in the area, Biggles felt right – unpretentious, friendly, a hive of joyful learning and a place I am comfortable and happy to leave my child – and he is happy to be there!”

“Eduplay Westgate is a great centre! My daughter has been going there since she was 11 months old, the transition at the begging was very smooth. The teachers are so loving and caring, the centre is very clean. What I love the most is that they always hold events for the whole family to join, the most recent ones are Matariki Night and Mother’s Day event. Can’t wait for the next fun event!”

“The best Silent Disco Hens Party ever! The concept of the Silent Disco Citywalk is ingenius and I can't recommend it enough for people who want to throw a party with a difference! I've never imagined having such a unique, thrilling hens party in my life, we had so much enjoyment walking and dancing around a small beachside town with a personalised audio programme! I had a brilliant time, so did my friends, the buzz created by the event and Yana was amazing! If you are in any doubt at all, then you need not worry. “My daughter started at KinderCare Constellation with very little English, and I was worried about how she would adjust. Howard, her Lead Teacher, has been incredibly responsible and caring. Kay has also been very responsible, always replying to my emails on time and in detail, which I greatly appreciate as a parent. After just three weeks, my daughter told me she likes Howard, and she has also made many new friends in the class. This gave us so much relief as parents, knowing she is both happy and supported. The staff’s patience, communication, and encouragement have really helped her feel comfortable. We also enjoy the daily updates and pictures, which keep us connected to her day. “Amazing child care, my son started his day care journey when he was 7 month old but I was not happy with the care taken at previous daycare so when my son was 2.5 year old, I changed his day care and started going at child's time. I always think it would be really amazing if I would have started my son's daycare journey from child's time and not with another day care. Amazing teachers, friendly environment. “Greenlane Childcare is a fabulous space for pre-school kids. We transitioned into this centre half way through last year and I was worried that our daughter might not settle but the team here has really put my mind at ease. They have embraced our entire family with so much love and kindness. They have nurtured our little one to become more confident, articulate and comfortable with expressing herself. They have amazing skills to bring out the best in children and they do it with utmost patience. The team here have become like family to us and we will be so sad to leave when the time comes for our little one to attend primary school.”

“Eskdale Treehouse is such a lovely daycare. 2 of my children attend and have been for the last few years. They are caring, respectful, considerate, helpful, thoughtful, informative and offer a super fun environment with lots of activities and cultural events. It didn't take long for my kids to settle in and they love going (and have made some great friends). It will be sad to say goodbye when my preschooler heads to school soon. They are very diligent with allergies too which is fantastic as my son has several and it was a bit scary sending him initially. They are also open throughout the school holidays which is amazing - they are hard workers. Nicky has also been very kind/accommodating to our family after I had my 3rd which I will always appreciate, thank you. So I highly recommend Treehouse. It has been a fantastic daycare and have been very happy to send my 2 here :)”

“From the first time meeting his teacher, Jecel, at the transition visits, I felt instantly relieved and knew that my 6 month old baby would be in good hands. All of the teachers in the Fern Room have helped my child to thrive, feel comfortable and he's happy going to daycare. Jecel is fantastic and her end of day handovers are fantastic. She has helped us with finding solutions to issues that has arisen. Very happy with the service Pascal's provide.”

Mike and Mon, along with their great teaching staff make the center welcoming and are always willing to accommodate any needs we might have. We love the smaller scale and that all ages can play together. The food is great and nutritious so we always know our son is being well fed. There are always fun activities planned for the kids and great cultural experiences throughout the year. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Appleseed to anyone.”

My daughter was 2 and a half years old when she started hand-and-hand. She goes to school now in year 3, but she still talks about Hand and Hand teachers. “Lightbulb learning is an AMAZING daycare. It is a brand new facility, each room is separate for each age group: 0-1y, 1-2y, 2-3y, 3-4y and 4-5y. This is the first day care that there has been an under 1y room to protect the babies from the bigger kids. The rooms also have age and developmentally appropriate toys. The outdoor areas are very well set out, lots of land for the kids to explore. Great menu and most of all the teachers are kind and our daughter immediately warmed to them! Highly recommend!”

“I'm so glad we chose Just Kidz Ormiston as our daughter's daycare, I was a bit anxious putting her into daycare as she is our first baby but the whole team at Just Kidz Ormiston made me and our family feel so comfortable, they are all so kind and caring, my daughter settled in really well and she absolutely loves all her teachers. Sadly, we are moving out of Auckland, which is the only reason we are leaving, otherwise I would be more than happy for her to stay here until she begins Primary School. “Love Cozy Corner Educare!! My daughter started in July of this year and the entire team at cozy corner were so welcoming and made the process of starting daycare a breeze. Although my baby can’t tell me, I can tell she loves daycare and all her teachers, she gets so excited when we walk up to cozy corner. Her teachers do an amazing job of educating, guiding and supporting my daughter through her early stages of life. We highly recommend!!”
