“Such an amazing learn to swim program. Our two daughters are part of the learn to swim and have a wonderful time learning and growing in the water with there two teachers Laura and Kristina. Anya does an amazing job setting up the learn to swim program and leading it I couldn’t recommend enough. The Indoor Pool Facility runs at a perfect air conditioned temperature and the pools are clean and comfortable for everyone! As a Swim Coach myself the team here does an incredible job! Lifeguards included as well!”
“Great little shop and the one charity shop in the area that actually prices everything fairly. Friendly staff. Wish the opening hours were a bit longer. Keep up the good work.”
“Came back to West wave gym after fifteen years away doing other sports, fortunately for me I met a personal trainer by the name of Noah there who was able to give me some solid direction and guidance. Noah’s vast knowledge and his passion for all things health and fitness has been an integral part of my strength, cardio and mobility development. Very Grateful to all the staff at West wave but most of all my friend Noah! Simon Lane”
“Highly recommend DBK, the staff are warm, welcoming and take great care of the kids. The outside space is large with plenty of play equipment, perfect for kids who love being outdoors like mine. The staff have been so helpful with my Autistic sons extra needs and making referrals for supports for him.”
“My little toddler absolutely loves coming to Little Ranges daycare! She is THRIVING under their care. The attention and genuine love they give her everyday has transformed our little 1 year old and we are so so grateful we found them! A bit of a back story is we moved her from another daycare (one of the most well known ones in Henderson Heights) because I noticed she’s just not as happy as she used to be, it just wasn’t the right fit. So I was sooo pleased that ever since she started going to Little Ranges she has FLOURISHED! Love the team at little ranges thank you for loving our girl! If you are looking for a team who will truly be your partner in raising your child, look no further than Little ranges :) 10 star all the way!!”
“We visited Magic Loft Avondale with our two boys and had such a good time. The staff were warm and genuinely welcoming. My kids were busy, happy and safe in the playground while I relaxed in the café area, still able to keep an eye on them. The space was set up well for families, fun for the kids, comfortable for adults. We’ll definitely go back.”
“Sent our son to Magical years for a few months. A wonderful centre with kind and supportive staff!”
“We've had friends who have sent there childen to A Step Ahead and highly recommended them. We've already booked in our child into the centre when they are old enough.”
“My daughter attended Biggles for 3 years and loved it. Very friendly and whanau focused centre. Teachers are well informed, connected and caring. Thank you all so very much!”
“My granddaughter goes to this excellent day-care centre and loves it. Besides being well cared for she gets educational input as well as great socialising with the other children. The staff are very caring and very professional. This is an impressive place that truly cares for the precious assets with which they are entrusted.”
“The staff here are truly incredible and really care about the children's development and wellbeing. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an early childhood centre in West Auckland”
“Flying Kiwi has been our absolute go-to for three of our kids, and there's no doubt it'll be the same for our fourth! Samuel, who's now 8, and Noahkai, now 6, both went there, and Elijah is still attending. It’s been nothing but good vibes all around—from the staff to the way they teach. You can tell the team really loves what they do, and honestly, I couldn’t imagine our kids going anywhere else. Total legends! If you're looking for a place that feels like home for your kids, Flying Kiwi is it. We'll be sending our youngest, Lucius, there when he's of age! ❤️”
“Our son has progressed well this year. We moved across to New Zealand this year and this was his first daycare experience. It didn't take him long to settle in and he has done well with the help of all staff. Recommend to be safe and exellent day care and early learning center.”
“Amongst the 4 child care centres we have tried, Childsteps is one wholesome place for your kid. Their programme is structured well to groom your child for school. The centre manager Jon, teachers Gene, Ina and the team are lovely, you can blindly trust them that your child is in safe hands. They make learning fun laying the foundation for school program.”
“Learning Star Preschool is one of the best centers my son has been to. From the moment you speak to Farhana you will instantly feel reassured & content that your child will be okay. All the teachers are nurturing, kind, compasionate towards the children & I witnessed this firsthand with my child. They also send you updates if not daily so you are always at ease. My boy has had the best time at the center that he will cry to go in even when is unwell. I also have my 6month old newly enrolled & feel so confident that he will be taken off well. Thank you so so much Farhana & your team!”
“Fantastic, inclusive environment. We greatly value and appreciate the entire team at Aubrey for taking such great care of both our boys the last few years, if we still lived closer we wouldn't be moving. We will miss you. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality childcare.”
“Baby started at 10 moths and we havent looked back. He loves it and we feel super comfortable with him there. Teachers are very loving”
“The staff are what makes Belmont Learning Space so great. Mayzie started at 5 months of age and the team made the transition so easy for her and me! Even though she was quite young to start daycare, it was easy to see she was in the best of hands and happy. I was able to head back to work with confidence knowing she was well looked after. Even Mayzie’s Grandma who’s been a kindergarten teacher for 40 years thinks BLS is one of the best early learning centers around. Their communication is excellent and I can not recommend this place enough. We are so so lucky to have a place like BLS in our Neighborhood.”
“I work near the area and it is quite convenient to have a Childcare center very close to my workplace. My daughter loves Brightsparks Childcare center and she asks me everyday including weekends “is it schooltime?” I truly recommend this place as the people who work there make you feel family. The moment you step in the center, you already know that your child is in the care of wonderful people. I see the teachers care for each one of them and really focus on their different needs. They also involve the parents by providing workshops for them to know what they do at the Center and also guide you how playtime plays a crucial part of learning and development. They even have field trips, which I enjoy with my daughter. I am a solo mum with no relatives in NZ, and Brightsparks have helped me a lot in developing my daughters social confidence and learning development!”
“We like KU because of the big and little people that make it what it is.”
“Choosing Apple Tree for our boy has been one of the best decisions we’ve made and we’re so confident in the care and quality they provide that we’ll be enrolling our second child in the coming months. The centre is warm, welcoming, and well-equipped, but what truly sets it apart is the incredible team of teachers. They are kind, supportive, and deeply committed to each child’s development. From the very beginning, we found them approachable and attentive, always taking the time to work closely with our child and support his learning journey. Over the years, we’ve watched our boy grow into a confident, curious, and happy young learner. The strong values, friendships, and early education he received at Apple Tree have given him a wonderful foundation as he prepares for primary school. We wholeheartedly recommend Apple Tree to any family looking for a nurturing, high-quality childcare centre. The love, care, and dedication of the staff have left a lasting impact on our family, and we’re truly grateful for the start our boy had here.”
“Great Teachers! My Daughter really enjoyed this place. It was such a great atmosphere.”
“Our 2-year-old loves it here! The staff are so good with him and really get him. He has the best time every day and always comes home happy (and tired, which is a bonus!). Couldn’t ask for better people looking after him.”
“This is such a wonderful Day Care. My son went here for 2 years and had a great time. The cost is very reasonable, and they get fed. They have lovely celebrations. Great teachers and good communication. Thank you to Uptown Kids.”
“The Miller Nest Early Learning Centre and it's team is so full of love for the children and their whanau it's just beautiful. It's truly a home away from home. Love and respect can be clearly seen in each and every interaction that takes place here. You can't go wrong with The Miller Nest.”
“Our children finished there journey at kid country this year. After having been there for 6 years between the two of them. They have both had many amazing experiences and am so thankful for the activities and events kid country provided to our children. They both loved being there so much. I can strongly recommend with the most space we could find of any daycare for the kids to roam and great management that supports events for the children.”
“Visited with a friend. Lovely to see everyone happy having fun.lovely staff”
“Such a warm loving comforting Centre for my toddler, very clean and the teachers treat the children very nicely. Will highly recommend this Centre.”
“Howick Kindergarten entrance is from the Wellington St. If see on the map it seems like it is on the Waterloo St. But it is not and it is from Wellington St. There is a small sign board "Howick Kindergarten" on the entrance of the by road. Cannot imagine there will be such a nice kindergarten inside that road. The staff and teachers are very nice, very friendly and helpful and taking good care of the kids. Inside the kindergarten, there are plenty of activities kids can do. Sometimes we cannot find this much of activities even in big place. Kids can play with sand and some sand activities with toys and many kids enjoying this. They have the freedom to do whatever they like there. Some containers kids can collect water and some kids make holes and filling water, some kids filling sand to containers, some filling sand to trucks and they are enjoying very much. Next to that, there are some activities area, like sliding, climbing, rope activities, and some other I don't know the names. Inside the classrooms there are activities like different kind puzzles, watercolor painting activity, then small carpentry workshop with all the hammers, screwdrivers, goggles, saw, nails, pliers, clamp, leveling instrument, and some other instruments, And there is a big basin and teachers fill up the water to that basin and kids allow to do some water sports, floating boats, filling different water bottles, different shapes, funnels,.......etc, Then around 10:30am, school arrange kids with milk and fruits. And the day I stayed with my son, (as he was crying I had to stay with him sometime there inside the kindergarten), I saw teachers made fried rice with kids, teachers advise and show them hot to clean and cut vegetables and kids do it as a activities and everything did with kids help and I saw kids were enjoying that very much and at the end, everybody eat fried rice as lunch and it was amazingly delicious. My son ate 2 times the fried rice. Some kids playing with play houses, some are doing some painting and drawing. some are playing all the time. And there are more activities to do. I saw next to classrooms, there is a nice garden with flowers and kids enjoying that garden too. And there are many other activities kids can do and I just told what I saw and notice only. so, it was an amazing experience for me, looking at the kids and how the teachers let kids to do different activities and give them such a nice experience where kids cannot have at homes. My son was crying and teachers were trying their best to make him calm and their service and efforts beyond someone can expect. So, I have no hesitation to recommend this place for anybody looking for a kindergarten. And I'm putting this note as a privilege and to respect their polite service and honest efforts for looking after kids.”
