“My son joined this kindergarten just last month, and I can already see a huge difference in him. He has become more independent and now enjoys doing things by himself. One of the best parts about this kindergarten is how much they encourage outdoor play, which my son absolutely loves. They also focus on teaching kids daily life skills, which is something I really appreciate. I’m confident that over time my son will continue to learn, grow, and channel his energy in the best possible way here. I also love that the kindergarten takes children on different outings, giving them the chance to explore nature while staying active and healthy. “Our daughter started at Kindercare Belmont in January 2021 at 17 months old. Right from the very first day, when the staff were dealing with my tears more than hers, I knew we had found the perfect daycare for our girl. She will leave Kindercare Belmont in August this year, once she turns 5 and heads off to school. Kindercare Belmont have absolutely done their job, as she is so ready for school, and is so prepared for it. The staff at Kindercare Belmont are incredible. Always friendly, ready for a chat, and legitimately know about my child and how she thrives. At the beginning of 2024, one of the goals I had written was that I wanted our daughter to be able to write her name by the end of the year. Not only could she do that, but she wrote in her teachers Christmas card herself. A true testament to the teaching taking place. Kindercare Belmont is superbly run by the incredible Jo. What a human. Jo (and her equally incredible support team of Monique, Donna and Clem) know every single child’s name AND their parents and often grandparents names. True attention to detail, and proof we are not just a number to them. Communication is frequent, I feel involved in her development and there is structure in place to ensure she thrives while at daycare. We have also formed an incredible community of her friends and classmates, with the parents getting on well too! This has been an absolute bonus for us. I truly cannot fault Kindercare Belmont at all, and will forever be grateful that we chose to enrol our girl here for daycare. It will be sad to say goodbye once she starts school.”

“Peacocks Epsom is one of the best asset for families and children. My 15m old loves going every day and has a smile for her teachers as soon as she gets there. I love the variety of activities they have for the kids everyday and the care they give them. The staff are very kind, patient, attentive and caring. Definitely recommend this centre!”

“Howick Kindergarten entrance is from the Wellington St. If see on the map it seems like it is on the Waterloo St. But it is not and it is from Wellington St. There is a small sign board "Howick Kindergarten" on the entrance of the by road. Cannot imagine there will be such a nice kindergarten inside that road. The staff and teachers are very nice, very friendly and helpful and taking good care of the kids. Inside the kindergarten, there are plenty of activities kids can do. Sometimes we cannot find this much of activities even in big place. Kids can play with sand and some sand activities with toys and many kids enjoying this. They have the freedom to do whatever they like there. Some containers kids can collect water and some kids make holes and filling water, some kids filling sand to containers, some filling sand to trucks and they are enjoying very much. Next to that, there are some activities area, like sliding, climbing, rope activities, and some other I don't know the names. Inside the classrooms there are activities like different kind puzzles, watercolor painting activity, then small carpentry workshop with all the hammers, screwdrivers, goggles, saw, nails, pliers, clamp, leveling instrument, and some other instruments, And there is a big basin and teachers fill up the water to that basin and kids allow to do some water sports, floating boats, filling different water bottles, different shapes, funnels,.......etc, Then around 10:30am, school arrange kids with milk and fruits. And the day I stayed with my son, (as he was crying I had to stay with him sometime there inside the kindergarten), I saw teachers made fried rice with kids, teachers advise and show them hot to clean and cut vegetables and kids do it as a activities and everything did with kids help and I saw kids were enjoying that very much and at the end, everybody eat fried rice as lunch and it was amazingly delicious. My son ate 2 times the fried rice. Some kids playing with play houses, some are doing some painting and drawing. some are playing all the time. And there are more activities to do. I saw next to classrooms, there is a nice garden with flowers and kids enjoying that garden too. And there are many other activities kids can do and I just told what I saw and notice only. so, it was an amazing experience for me, looking at the kids and how the teachers let kids to do different activities and give them such a nice experience where kids cannot have at homes. My son was crying and teachers were trying their best to make him calm and their service and efforts beyond someone can expect. So, I have no hesitation to recommend this place for anybody looking for a kindergarten. And I'm putting this note as a privilege and to respect their polite service and honest efforts for looking after kids.”

“My son is currently enrolled at Tiny Stars and I cant tell how you much my son has learnt especially in the past year at Tiny Stars. Though he's playful at home, his attitude changes as soon as the gate opens and it's like he's a different person. He honestly loves Tiny Stars he sometimes doesn't want to leave. The staff there too are also friendly, they keep you in the loop of your child's learning and they really value the child's learning.”

“Great place for childcare services”

“Prior to coming to Pigeon Mountain kindy, my daughter was a very shy girl. The Covid lockdowns didnt help in developing her social skills. Eversince coming to Pigeon Mountain kindy, she has continuously broken out of her shell. All thanks to the kind teachers of this kindy. We always look forward to her artworks that she's making at kindy. The teachers are also very approachable and they really have genuine concern on the development of my daughter. My husband and I appreciate their regular updates and our morning interactions with the teachers. As immigrants, we felt very welcome in this kindy. We also learn a lot about NZ culture and other cultures as well, through our daughter's stories on what she learns from the kindy. Plus it's at the foot of Pigeon Mountain so the kindy regularly organises mountain walks (which I think is very unique in this kindy). Great and kind teachers, safe and accessible location, welcoming atmosphere of the community, personally I think Pigeon Mountain kindy is the best in East Auckland!”

Lots of fun activities to keep them busy and engaged. Plus the facilities are great, decent outside space, seperate nap room and always clean and tidy. It’s also a very calm environment which is so important for little ones. Can’t recommend it highly enough!”
