They quickly diagnosed the issue and carried out the repair, but when more faults appeared (as BMWs often do), Andrew and the team went above and beyond to track down the underlying problems. BMWs are known for having tricky, hard-to-trace faults, but Andrew really knows his stuff. He spent a lot of extra time and effort to get to the bottom of it—something most places wouldn’t bother with. Many other shops just start replacing parts without any guarantee it’ll solve the issue, but here they actually took the time to diagnose properly. The pricing was very reasonable, especially considering the time and care they put in. Honest, professional, and genuinely passionate about getting it right—I highly recommend them.”

It took a bit of effort to find and remove the little bugger, car up on the hoist and wheel and rotor removed - probably close to a half hour's labour - then they sent me off without charging me !! “Probably the first positive experience I’ve ever had at a mechanics. Failed my WOF at VTNZ due to brake imbalance. Took it in to the guys at Mairangi and after a while I get a call to say they checked it over and there is nothing wrong with my brakes at all and they even took it down to the road to a brake place to confirm. Told me I don’t need to fix anything and also didn’t charge me at all to look at it. Super honest guys and extremely nice. I’d recommend them any day and I will be back in the future.”
