“A previous diagnosis on the ECU of my 95 Surf indicated the capacitors had started to leak and when the truck started experiencing auto shifting problems I dropped it into the workshop to be fixed. Ian had to send the ECU to Nelson to be repaired. Dropped the Surf off Tues morning and it was back on the road all fixed by mid day Fri and I am VERY happy with the service and price charged. “I'm from the north and really scared of Auckland mostly South and West of dodgy mechanics who scam because we've had a lot of encounters. But these guys omg, car broke down I towed it to them, a little family run business by the looks, they were very honest and caring. They took care of the car repaired the fuel system drained the fuel and re topped which was the cause, and told me that was it, no more damage. They did recommend other stuff but was just a side note and car can still drive and operate normally now. No pressure no nothing. I drove car out couple days after repair and it was completely immaculate and drove back north. And yes another trusted mechanic up here said I should change exactly what they recommended that day.
