Dion managed to find out the cause of my issues in 1 day that my old mechanic couldn’t find in the last few months. He went above and beyond to make sure I had a way home and to make sure I wasn’t being ripped off. Trustworthy mechanics are appreciated! He was able to complete the work at a great price whilst giving me high quality parts. They provide mechanical services as well as auto electrician services which is convenient. They promptly diagnosed the problem and went the extra mile to ensure we got our vehicle back on the road as quickly as possible. Woke up this morning to find our van had no power. We called Howick Auto Electrical and were taken care of immediately. The lady on the phone was exceptionally kind and arranged for us to come in within an hour so they could assess the issue. When we arrived, we were warmly expected and attended to without delay. Dion’s professionalism, care, and pride in his work were evident from the start. Instead of jumping to the most expensive solution, he suggested topping up the liquid and recharging the batteries first to determine the best course of action. We spent about five hours parked in the van while the batteries were charging. During this time, Dion and his team consistently checked in on us, ensuring we were comfortable and keeping us informed every step of the way. Unfortunately, once the batteries were charged, it became clear they were beyond saving. However, Dion went above and beyond to source high-quality replacement batteries at a great price. He even ordered them straight away so they’d be ready for us first thing Monday morning. We are incredibly grateful for the exceptional service we received—honestly, the best we’ve ever experienced at an auto shop. If you need any electrical work done on your vehicle, I can’t recommend Dion and his team highly enough!
Absolutely phenomenal experience. After months of struggling with previous mechanics and getting nowhere very quickly, I took a leap of faith and bought my Audi into them without seeing reviews or feedback from anyone. Tammy, Dion and the team had brilliant communication, worked through the MANY faults in a timely manner and persevered till the car was running smooth. Always willing to have a laugh while providing honest progress updates, I couldn't recommend this team highly enough.

Dion and the team are eager to help wherever they can while staying professional and friendly—the second time around, taking my motorhome back to them for some repairs and modifications. Dion goes out of his way to find the best solutions but is also very realistic about keeping the answers to the repairs I have had practical while staying inside of a decent spending limit. The WOF is done very quick without any extra unnecessary charge which I have been experienced at other places previously. Will definitely go back later on with other cars. Highly recommend!!!
