Absolutely loved this stay. What started as a stressful day with flight cancellations turned into a happy surprise thanks to this hotel, and the team were so polite, friendly and genuinely welcoming. The room was huge and spacious, with a super comfortable bed and a peaceful, quiet atmosphere β everything worked perfectly, which made it really easy to relax. The gardens are gorgeous and beautifully kept, adding a lovely, calm vibe every time you step outside. Breakfast was included in my room rate and it was fantastic β hearty options, really tasty and such good value that it felt like a little bonus treat to start the day. Would stay here again in a heartbeat and happily recommend it to anyone visiting Dunedin.

I stay here regularly as of the whole service my view is eexcellent of this particular lodge. My room was spotless and the staff are so well mannered and always offering to help,"and not only that the food fresh breakfast buffet absolutely fabulous choices. A laundry on site that is excellent as I go swimming and to come back and do my own laundry and they also offer that service," but I couldn't help but feel this is a awesome place to stay on holiday or whatever," I recommend them greatly this is the place to stay also fair reasonable prices for any of their accommodation.

Went here a few times. The first time it was nice, but the second nice was not that good, but alright. Saw hairs on the be. Overall pretty average, not bad. The breakfast was really good though. A nice variety of food available like pancakes, waffles, scrambled eggs and other yummy food.

On the edge of town but adjacent to the wonderful Botanical Gardens. Really spacious room and large bath. In house restaurant was quite nice. Really enjoyed the Blue Cod ! Can get a bit hectic at breakfast with the bus crowds. Not too many channels on the television but lots of rugby (yea!) unfortunately the Highlanders lost βΉοΈ

Would have been 5 stars all around but the coffee machine was broken. Good friendly staff. Heaps of parking even with a trailor.

I stayed there with my best friend and we had the best hotel experience that is comparable to my experiences with 5-star hotels around the world. The staff were ALL kind, generous, helpful and joined in with our hilarity. The food was simply divine, and the room service was excellent. Nothing was a problem. The room was warm, inviting and very comfortable. I honestly cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. We loved our stay there. The hotel is beautiful and the gardens are gorgeous. As someone who suffers from claustrophobia and anxiety, I dislike highrise hotels, this hotel was perfect for anyone who has that struggle.

I stayed at the Leisure Lodge recently and the staff were excellent. Really helpful and accommodating. I was part of a large group but nothing was a problem for them. I forgot a pair of shoes behind which they got sent back to me as soon as I phoned in. I'll be back next time I'm in Dunedin.

Didnβt love our stay. Some staff were lovely and others not so approachable and not wanting to engage with us. Could do with a more modern look and feel. Rooms could do with air conditioning as they were extremely hot and only provided portable fans. There is no lift which made carting luggage up the stairs tricky. Laundry is all the way on the other side of the building. Our room was dark and lots of highway noise unfortunately that canβt be helped. The hallway leading up to our room smelt horribly musky including our room. The room whilst it looked clean didnβt feel clean to the point where we spent most of our time out. The restaurant was amazing and the young lady who waited for us was very lovely and made our booking enjoyable.
