I thought the place perfectly adequate for two brothers to share. All the necessary comforts...fridge and plugs, comfy beds and shower, the usual. No frills but fine for people just wanting to sleep there. You can even take a pet.
Overall, the accommodation was great! However, one thing that was missing was a microwave in the room. Adding this amenity would make the experience truly awesome and convenient for guests.
What a surprise the pub has been renovated and is great. Good prices and great place to have a meal beer and watch the races.

While on our holidays we called in for an evening meal, ordered the beef schnitzel. It was delicious. The beers were nice and chilled. Love these older pubs and the bar tender was very welcoming, and the locals were super friendly to us. We look forward to returning. Long may these places live on.

Has heat pump inside our room for the winter. Reasonable quality and value. 5 mins drive to restaurants or cafe.
The room was perfect for 2 people. Has everything needed. No cooking facilities but they provide a toaster, jug and fridge. Good value for money. A nice quiet place to stay, walking distance to St Kilda and St Clair beaches and cafés. Busses pick up from the bus stop right outside so an easy and cheap option for getting into the city. Will definitely stay here again in the future.
Absolutely beautiful place to stay. From the moment my husband and I arrived the staff were very kind and accommodating. They showed us our room and the rooms were so lovely and very comfy. They answered any question we had and the food was to die for. Would definitely recommend. Love this place
My wife and I spent three nights here. The motels are very good value for the price. They are small as others have said, but they are clean and warm, the beds are comfortable. The ensuite is adequate.They are "studio" units, so no cooking facilities. But there is a fridge, toaster and electric jug, with three sets of crockery and utensils. So it is adequate to prepare and consume a continental breakfast. The units are serviced daily so washing dishes is not an issue.Though we did find that having only one chair was an issue, as was not having a table to eat from. However we adapted to these. I did suggest to the proprietor that providing fold up TV trays and fold up chairs would enhance them. These could be stored in the wardrobe, which has heaps of room. Meals were not an issue as the hotel is right next to them and has good pub meals. at reasonable prices. We will most certainly stay there when next we are in Dunedin.
