Awesome place. A great spot to think and take a walk. There are plenty of benches too which is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view.

I love that you can walk by estuary & see the snow capped mountains in one direction & then across to the hills by Sumner. Beautiful seeing KΕtare (Kingfisher) too.

You can indulge in a leisurely half-hour stroll along the estuary, where you can immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of nature. This walk also provides serene surroundings and opportunity for birdwatching. If time is right, you can marvel at the sunset!

Beautiful spot to take in the estuary. This particular day we saw seagulls bobbing in the water, boats running through a course in the distance and many crabs. I love the boardwalk feature. There's a small gravel carpark at the start of the walk off Ebbtide St where it becomes Estuary Road. It's 180m from Ebbtide St to the South New Brighton Domain which has a playground and if you walk further on you'll discover the South New Brighton Pier. Half hour walk to get all the way to the pier.
