Beautiful beach, but many, many dog shits along it. The most I've ever seen across NZ in fact. Shockingly disappointed in the community causing this to happen. Watch out for your toes and check where you put a towel down!

Beautiful spot. Very cheap fish and chippy nearby, what's not to like!
We went to the beach for a swim in the sea. It was a bit windy so the sand was blowing around. A bit sand blasting is sometimes good for the sole. The life guards on duty were very good doing there job and controlling were people swim.
