Great playground to take the kids, nice big open spaces for them to run about! This is a wonderful place to spend the day, we had a great time!

Went there today for a walk with my sister, daughter and my lovely fur baby. Nice quiet and clean park. Has playground, rubbish bins and well looked after lawn.

The dog-friendly walking path alongside the creek allows for a pleasant 20-30 minute loop walk, and the picturesque hills in the backdrop add to its allure. Terrible experience with the grandys today 30/7/2023. Haven't lived in NZ for a number of years, won't be back here. Grass is long and wet, carpark is filthy, doggy doo in bags on the ground, rotting leaves all through the carpark, not just leaves but rotting everything, been there a long time, never cleaned. Rotting fish laying on the ground. No operating toilet facilities, looks like they have been under maintenance for at least a year going by council signage, due to be finished in July, laughable. Dogs everywhere off lead and visiting our picnic, not everyone loves your dog. Overall a terrible experience never to be repeated. Disgusting effort Christchurch Council. Third world.
Lovely park surrounded by a stream footpaths sports fields and bridges to explore up the Rapaki track and Montgomery Spur. The views were amazing looking back to the park and Christchurch city
