We enjoyed a beautiful walk connecting the small bays along the coastal track. The trail was lively with many other hikers, and the little bays made perfect spots to pause and rest. With the wildflowers in bloom, it was a truly delightful walk.

If you are looking for a sheltered place to swim and enjoy the sun, then this is the place for you. A great place for the family with safe swimming and a pontoon in the water you can swim out to and jump off. The water is calm and clear, no wave's and sheltered from the wind which is a big plus. There's no houses or shop's, however there's parking and as you walk down the path to the beach, there are toilets and changing rooms. There was a van in the carpark selling real fruit Ice cream which were delicious and great value for money.

Beautiful and placid bay especially in winter, there is parking at the top, not the easiest trek down if you struggle walking up and down hills as it's quite steep. There were both showers and toilets on the way back up to the carpark.

A Beautiful little bay not so far from the city. Safe to take children and they will enjoy the place. There is a track if you want to walk and enjoy the view from the top. There are toilets and place to take a shower. Good parking during the week days. Its a walk down from the parking till the bay. Beach is full of tiny shells, so be careful.

I think very underrated place in Christchurch. It's near Lyttelton, I didn't know about this place before. I saw it from Mount Vernon Lookout. Very calm and beautiful place to spend some quality time. There is walking track along side of beach. Beach is not big but beautiful. Water colour is green which makes it picturesque. Eough parking. Totally recommended.

Beautiful reserve. The beach is good. There is a small nice playground for the kids and some tables for picnic. Toilets and fitting rooms are available, though dirty. There is a shower. The parking is quite large, but some wait may be necessary on sunny days. The path to Cass Bay, makes a nice walk.

Wonderful place to just relax and enjoy the beach. There are picnic tables and benches all around the area and there is a public toilet and changing room (not maintained quite as well as other public toilets are though). Other than that, it's a good spot if you're looking to take some photos, grab a bite and drink, or just enjoy the beach. Would recommend to come in on non-peak hours to really appreciate the place.
