   Lovely food, waiter was friendly. The only thing is the decor - do justice to the food - go to IKEA for some nicer tables and chairs (make it feel modern and fresh instead of old and dusty) and give the place a light colour paint. Thank you - wonderful people and fabulous food! Loved the garlic naan. They offer gluten free naan which is great!

   I went to Everest Indian Restaurant in Parklands yesterday. The food was really delicious, and I was very impressed with their service. The staff were polite, kind, and very respectful. They truly cared about the customers’ needs. Along with the great food, I also received wonderful customer respect. I’ve never experienced such amazing service anywhere else before. I’m very happy with the service I got yesterday, and I’ll definitely visit again next time. It was an amazing experience!

   My family and I are absolutely obsessed with this place! We had dinner here yesterday, and once again, it was incredible , just as it is every single time. We usually order from here at least three or four times a month for our takeaway nights, and it never disappoints. The flavours are out of this world it was rich, perfectly balanced, and so authentic. You can really taste the freshness and care that goes into every dish. Each curry has its own unique character, and everything always tastes freshly made, never oily or heavy. The portion sizes are fantastic too , generous enough that we always have leftovers for lunch the next day, which is such a bonus! The service is always warm and friendly, whether you’re dining in or picking up takeaway. The team clearly takes pride in what they do, and it shows in both the food and the experience. If you’re looking for truly delicious, high-quality curry in Christchurch, this is the place to go. We’ve tried a lot of Indian restaurants over the years, but nothing else even comes close. Highly, highly recommend!

   I visited here for lunch with my friend on August 28th 2025 while over in New Zealand. Food was great as usual. Unfortunately this restaurant really let themselves down not being transparent about the $14 dine in lunch special. When I went to pay I was charged the full $23. When I asked the waiter about the price he told me that I got the large. This was not explained to me or my friend sitting with me that there were two different serving sizes. I left feeling that this restaurant advertises a lunch special to get people in the door and not honoring their advertisement. I would suggest making this clear prior to taking customers orders in the future as ultimately word of mouth, good reviews and customer experience will make one’s business most successful. Thanks

   Everest Indian Restaurant and Takeaways,60 Queenspark Drive, Parklands, Christchurch 8083. I have eaten out at a lot of Indian Restaurants in Christchurch. Have had several lunch takeaways from here, and they are reasonably priced, tasty, and authentic Indian dishes. What more could you want.
