We ordered samosa, paneer masala, kadai paneer, chicken tikka kebab, dal makhani and naan. It was so delicious and perfectly cooked. 5 stars to this amazing chef. Service provided by the Reception girl was outstanding. I would say the best food in south island.
Best Lamb Dhansak in chch. Great price and quality. Ordered takeaway with colleague for lunch. Chef Shashir is very friendly and helpful. Definitely will be back!
There Is only one genuinely good place I can go to for Indian takeaways, consistency is key and Bombay brassie nails it every time. My favourite dish is Aloo Gobi (pictured beloved half munched)
I ordered chicken biryani, garlic cheese naan, chicken tikka masala, and tandoori chicken for dinner. Overall, everything was clean and tasty — really satisfying. The tandoori chicken was especially great; it’s often dry at other places, but here it was moist, tender, and delicious. The prices are pretty reasonable, and the portions are very generous, so it’s great value for money. Highly recommend!
One of the best Indian restaurants in town. All the chicken curries are delicious. The vegetarian ones are also amazing. Chicken Korma, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Mango Chicken are our favourites. The service is great when dining in and also for take away. I highly recommend it!
goog guy, food is good, way better than other places, portion size is huge compared to other restaurants, keep it up, i bought lam madras from them and it was packed, other restaurants hardly put few pieces in it and just add mainly gravy in it, but this place is opposite.
There are many Indian restaurants in Christchurch and most are very good. This restaurant is one of the best. Not only are the spices very well balanced, the meat, especially the chicken, is succulent. They also serve an excellent chai masala. Good free parking at the back of the restaurant which is on the corner of North Avon and Stanmore Road. Highly recommend
Outrageously delicious. Imagine the best tasting Indian meal you’ve ever eaten, then know this is better. Last night in Christchurch tonight for a while and wanted a curry, I’m usually somewhat skeptical about curry in AU and NZ after living in ‘home of the balti’ in Birmingham, UK and It’s with utter luck I stumbled upon this absolute hidden gem. The only thing that surprised me about this place was the fact it wasn’t packed to the rafters with a waiting list to book. Every herb and spice perfectly placed and the flavour was to die for, and quite simply the best cheese and garlic naan I have ever eaten. The owner/front house is well mannered, prompt and very friendly. Myself and my partner left incredibly full! If I could score more than 5 I would. Highly recommend anyone who hasn’t tried this place. I’ll look forward to visiting again in feb next year!
