Had the seafood meal for dinner, yummy!!! The service, once I received my glass of wine, water and dinner. I was left to enjoy my food which was nice. Usually you get asked how you meal is. I didn't get asked if I would like another drink. When my pate was taken I didn't get asked if I enjoyed my dinner. The plate was just taken away. I waited around half an hour after I had finished eating, didn't get asked by anyone if I would like to see the dessert menu. I then left. So the hotel could of made a little bit more money from me if I was asked if I wanted another drink or dessert. The resturant was not busy, nice quiet place for enjoying dinner. I did work in a 5star hotel previously so maybe I have a higher expectation of service or maybe my training was different. Beautiful food. Thankyou

About Us
On the plate at Garden Court Brasserie, the idea is grillβfocused and well judged. Grill work shows a clean sear and rested meats. Service stays present without fuss. A sensible spend for the spread. Serve sizes show solid value.

Very great service and food. Started with a pre dinner drink in The Red Fox bar, then thru to the restaurant. Our host was Ben, very welcoming and knowledgeable. For hubby Beef rib eye, had a bit of gristle and a bit tough. For me blue cod and chips, beautifully cooked. For mum roast or the day, lamb rump. We both had an apple pie to finish. Highly recommended. Lovely setting, at one stage we were the only ones there. A nice way to say we have been to the Hilton!

Updated dining with great seating and design. Food was well presented and tasty. Enjoyed both mains & dessert. The toilets need an update. Very low toilet and outdated.

We were at the Chateau for a private function with a set menu & the food was outstanding! The steak was cooked to perfection and the apple pie was to die for! Drink Service was fabulous with juices, water and wine available as well as coffee and tea. The appetisers were a little difficult to handle particularly the mushroom option but it was delicious all the same! Presentation was en pointe and I felt like I was at an awards ceremony as the venue was architecturally amazing! Excellent from start to finish.

Food quality is good. Menu is not very extensive but sufficient. Prices are slightly high but can be expected as the restaurant is located in a hotel. Restaurant atmosphere and ambience is nothing fancy. Simple. Doesn't befit hotel standards. Staff service is good. Professional.

A rather small and a casual restaurant in DT. Not much on the menu, but so far all the food that i have tasted was thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delish. The price is reasonable and the service is good! Will definitely recommend!

Great food with equally good service from the staff. Decent selection of food from the menu and a fair amount of selection for drinks also. Can get busy during festive seasons so best make a reservation. Had the steak and it was well prepared. Lamb cutlets are well worth a try too.
