I called up needing a urgent wof recheck that day and he said he could squeeze me in. Absolutely amazing service, the boss man was very down to earth and friendly and got the wof done even when it went after hours. Absolutely appreciate their work
Very good service at reasonable rates, great communication, always take my car here. Never had any problems - Solomon does a great job of keeping my older car running smoothly.
Never had a mechanic as driven and willing to go above and beyond. Cant imagine going anywhere else--here I can always trust Solomon to let me know what to realistically expect and keep me updated, checking in before starting expensive work, and letting me know about alternatives. Not to mention working on temporary transit solutions whenever work takes a while. Best in Hamilton.
Solomon has been keeping our cars on the road and in great condition for about 20 years. Throughout that time he has been unfailingly professional and friendly, quick to respond, fixes the problem speedily and without drama. On numerous occasions he has gone out of his way to help us. At every turn he has been unfailingly helpful and offers the best advice. We consider him a Star and would never take our car anywhere else.
I have been reading some bad recent reviews and I would say that those have been some unfortunated isolated incidents. I have been taking my cars to Solomon during the last four years, finding an honest and great service after experienced some disappointed situations with other garages in Hamilton. Probably he's not the fastest but i prefer honestly and quality when dealing with mechanics services. Highly recommended if you are not in a rush.

I recently had a great experience at Hamilton East Auto Repairs when I took my car there for a WOF. Solomon, the owner, is an extremely friendly and honest person, and David, a young member of the team, showed great attention to detail and good manners. I have been to this place before for my car's WOF, and I will definitely return next time. The service was excellent, and the staff were professional and knowledgeable. We had a problem with our car while traveling near Hamilton. The owner helped managed to find the problem and fixed it although he had lots of other work to do. We could continue our travels and are very thankful for the great service :-)
