    Far out this is the place with the best pies in NZ. My daughter and I got a mussel pie and a pork and watercress pie, we then cut them in half and swap. The pastry just melted in my mouth and both pies creamy as and full of flavour. I also got a sausage which was huge and my girl got a drumb stick and a mussel. All cooked beautiful, we reckon you want a pie go to the Bakehouse Putaruru it's also a great atmosphere to dine in. Awesome staff plenty of tables and nice and clean. You gotta go eat there yum yum. Also fantastic price under ten dollars each for an amazing feed

    Cold fries, chicken kebab could have been anything, really rude server. Not recommended at all.

    Didn't really like the breakfast we received. Toast was soggy just flipped on the grill, meal Didn't look appealing like the pictures on the order board. Not a nice sit down place burnt the take a way ready packaged food like sandwiches, pies, cakes looked good. Just a let down for the cooked breakfast we got.

    The food is yuck especially the hot chips, they always taste soggy. The coffee tastes burnt and the staff aren’t willing to make you another one if you complain, they will expect you to pay for another one. Waste of money. Go to the bakehouse on the main road, they are a lot better then this one.
