   This place has the best brunch and service. the salmon in the Eggs Benedict. Instead of the typical smoked salmon you find in supermarkets, it was freshly prepared. You could tell right away that the food was made with great care. Another highlight was the eggs had such a unique shape—it went beyond our expectations because they were both cute and delicious. The service was also wonderful—the staff were gentle and friendly, even warmer than what you often experience in many fine-dining restaurants. Finally, this spot is open every day, and it’s conveniently located as the first shop right inside the food court, so it’s very easy to find. Overall, it’s definitely worth recommending and trying out!

   First time we went in to order breakfast, ordered pancakes with no bacon, ended with bacon asked them to remake new ones, they pulled a funny face and pretty sure they took the bacon off and gave it back, instead of making a fresh lot. Second time trying this cafe, asked at the counter if the scones where just cheese, got told that they were, but ended up with a cheese and ham one instead, would be nice if they were labelled, and staff knew what they were. Otherwise the lady was nice and polite.

   Really accomodating and lovely staff. Plus amazing food. Thank you so much for making our morning after the morning we just had. You are amazing people. Now in 2024. Still run by the same person we remembered serving us about two years ago when we posted the first review. The food is still amazing and great value. Steak and eggs are to die for. Toasties specials are awesome. But the coffee was out of this world. Recently came back from Texas and the first sip of coffee at Nana Lou's recalibrated my taste buds as to how coffee should taste like. Amazing staff, amazing service. Everyone needs to check out this little gem in Putāruru.

   Had never stopped by here before, friend and I were out for brunch and came across Nana Lou's. Very impressed with the size of the meals, perfectly cooked, nice traditional kiwi food, bangers and Mash and Fish n Chips, food was hot, served promptly and very tasty. Service was fantastic, lovely young lady serving us friendly and professional. We will be back for sure and will bringing along others to have a taste of this treasure.

   They make a great Hazelnut Latte. A visit to the Putaruru foodcourt is highly recommended for a cuppa. Hopefully I can try the food soon.
