New to Wigram We Care - saw a new Dr today and I am so impressed by how efficient and thorough they were. Iβd been at the same dr practice for almost 40 years so switching was scary - but I am pleased that I made the move. Helpful and friendly too.

I want to be clear: most of the doctors at this clinic have been wonderful. The issue is with one particular doctor I saw recently, and the experience was so upsetting it deserves to be acknowledged. During my appointment, this doctor was abrupt, dismissive, and showed no interest in listening to anything I tried to explain. Her tone was condescending from the moment I walked in, and every answer felt like I was being told off rather than supported. Even my social worker, who attended with me, was shocked by how unnecessarily harsh and disrespectful she was. Compared to the other staff here β who have all been caring, patient, and genuinely helpful β this appointment stood out for all the wrong reasons. I left feeling embarrassed, unheard, and completely deflated. No patient should leave a health appointment feeling worse than when they arrived. I hope the clinic takes this seriously, because one person behaving this way can undo the good work of everyone else.

The receptionist, medical clinicians and nurses are so polite and assuring. My friend recommended me here and I am thankful for this. The walk in option and seeing a registered nurse who works with a team of medical professionals are practical solutions for everyone when there is no quick solution to the shortage of GPs in this country . Thank you.

We joined We care health 3 years ago and have been so impressed with the ease, efficency and professionalism of services offered. The drop in clinic and weekend availability have been fantastic with my young children. However, over the last few months I have noticed a considerable drop in standard of care and availability. The last 2 times we have used the drop in clinic we have had to wait over an hour and today we were told it would be at least 2 hours and there wasn't a single seat available in the waiting room! Although I understand that it is a busy time of year, they seem unprepared to keep up with demand. The wait time to make an appointment with a GP is minimum 1 week and often not available at my preferred practice location. We be looking for a new medical center should standards not be improved.

Weβve come here twice for our child and once for myself and itβs been a pleasant experience each time. Appointments are strongly recommended as they can get busy, hence a longer wait time. This clinic is very clean and organized. The warm interaction with the staff from the reception desk to the lab helped alleviate the fright of being in a medical clinic, especially when needles are involved. Outstanding service!

Absolutely unprofessional. No humility. Specially the staff at the front desk, reluctant at doing their jobs and indifferent to the patients waiting. I dropped in at the clinic on 14th August 2023 at around 9:35 am with my 2 year old who had a temp of 39.5. Triage nurse was quite shocked that itβs high and told us to wait. They were busy. We kept waiting. It was now past 10:30 that I asked the lady at the front desk as to whatβs up and she was so indifferent and just brushed off the question saying you have to wait, I told her my toddler is burning up and is drowsy. She said you have to wait. Another hour passed, at 11:30 I saw the triage nurse walking by and asked him that nobody had seen us, he checked (took 15 mins) and came back saying they had accidentally put my toddler on the non urgent list. They are sorry and if I could wait in the back and will be seen as soon. It is now 12:45 and until now nobody has seen us. I have clearly and calmly let the front desk know how this makes me feel. Seeing my toddler drowsy with temp more than 39.5. She says I am sorry you have to wait. I am definitely changing practices as soon as I can. Money mongering, unprofessional and actually they DONT CARE.

Nurses and doctors are fine, just never satisfied with the receptionists. When you ask them if they can book another appointment before you go, they will just ask you to book online on your own. When there are full staff sitting at the front they are all working on βsomethingβ which you can wait for 5 minutes. While they are working on βsomethingβ you line up and waiting, and somebody rude not lining up just walk by to the front desk and those ladies will still help.

I have been here 3 times now and I haven't been disappointed once. The doctors listen to your needs and don't do unnecessary tests. The nurse I saw today in the acute clinic was lovely, gave me some good advice and even a spacer for my inhaler as I did not have one.

Myself and my family have all experienced terrible treatment and service at this practice, several times. I'd say we have been too patient with this location and given too many chances, unfortunately it is quite difficult to find a decent family doctor in christchurch with the zoning system. From doctors, to front desk service, to their communication over the phone and through their online system, I have had too many messed up appointment times and poor treatment. I found this practice to be very defensive and unhelpful, with lack of empathy.

The wait time on average on the phone is roughly 15minutes and I have called in five times asking to speak to one of the nurses. I have waited all day yesterday waiting for a phone call but nothing. So I followed it up the next day and this time I simply get a text message. The staff and nurses are extremely disrespectful and they simply do not care about patients and their needs. I feel like I am not being heard or treated, absolutely terrible.
