   Even though I was there as a casual patient, I just wanted to say a big thanks to the lovely doctor I saw today. She really made me feel a lot better about myself. Totally recommend this medical centre

   Terrible experience here, do not recommend. Horribly rude doctors and staff. Thank goodness I have moved to a practice with staff that can actually communicate, listen and don’t berate patients in public! Just have a look at the other negative reviews illustrating similar experiences, what a shocker (!!) This place should be investigated and I regret not making a complaint to the HDC. Do yourself (and your health) a favour and get medical advice elsewhere- any other surgery in Christchurch is better than here!!

   I should have written this back last year. In December 2023 my wife was experiencing a high degree of nausea and palpations so we saw our family GP Dr Lolita M to get bloodwork done. My wife got her bloodwork back and was prescribed medication by Dr Lolita to combat the high cholesterol levels. I was surprised my wife was not personally contacted about our concerns for her health as her last GP did this even if there was no immediate concerns. I emailed reception to request a phone call to my wife to help explain the bloodwork results as her family has a history of diabetes and high blood pressure. Somehow Dr Lolita M took great offense to my request and purposely rung my wife to berate her about my message to the clinic ranting about how she was busy ect and to find another clinic if we were not happy and that she was kind enough to let us enroll (literally said that) Although the Dr called my wife to vent (and thus caused my wife high emotional distress afterwards) she didn't even remember or perhaps intentionally left out any explanation for the medication and blood results. I am still upset to this day on how unprofessional Dr Lolita acted towards my wife. Not just as a fellow kabayan Filipino but also as towards the importantly esteemed doctor/patient relationship. I chose not to report this to The Health Commissioner out of mere grace because she had been good to my family in the past. The clinic also has yet to this day to actually respond to my formal complaint via email. I really believe we have been wronged here. My request for information certainly did not deserve the response that was directed to my wife as the patient. We have since left the country however we certainly took our family to a new clinic after this experience. I was/am very shocked at this level of shameful behavior from such a well established medical practice. Edit: Thank you for the reply and acknowledgement. Unless Dr Lolita still is feeling indifferent on the situation that had happened, she has been and is able to reach out to us/me via email if she so wishes to make amends. Unprofessional behavior does not require 'clarification'. We are not expectant on this to happen so we have to otherwise move on.

   Did not diagnose broken bones. Hand broken in two places and did not even send for an x-ray. Will be getting a new GP. Medical professional would be an overstatement

   Nearly 4 years we have been apart of this amazing practice.! Our main doctor is Dr Megan Pow who has been phenomenal with myself and my toddler. I have needed some help with my mental health over the years and with all the worries that come with being a first time mum; Dr Pow has been nothing but kind, caring and understanding with every concern. No matter how small. The nurses are also amazing when helping me get my toddler to take his medicine whilst he was unwell and being quick and efficient with all his immunizations. All in all a brilliantly run practice with Doctors and staff who go above and beyond to help. Many thanks to the Dings for keeping such high standards at the practice and the team for being so amazing.

   After more than 12 months as a patient and 2 formal complaints to the Health and Disability Commission, we have left the practice. Two out of the three doctors, Dr Dy and Dr Pow, at this practice are plagued by prejudice. They are rude, dismissive and unprofessional and worst of all, speaking without knowledge on the disorders they are discussing, they are ignorant and poorly trained. In our last appointment Megan literally SCREAMED and YELLED at me with my 2 children present. She had a complete mental breakdown, ranting about her own suicidal feelings and that of her 15yo child because I raised concerns about my 10yo expressing suicidal thoughts. No treatment was provided for my child. She literally chased us out of the exam room into the waiting room screaming and acting like a mad women for all to see. My children (10 and 1 were traumatised). She has never reached out to apologise. I wish I were able to fully explain the depths of the mistreat we experienced at Grahams Road but would need to divulge very private information regarding our families health. Notes were poorly taken, mistakes frequently made and the "beside manner" completely missing. We have not received treatment and support we desperately needed and that's another year of my sons life gone, unable to be returned, as a result of Grahams Road Medical's incompetence. On the plus side for the practice, Cozette is a wonderful receptionist and the nurses have bubbles for after vaccinations. As that's about all that can be said positively for Graham's Road.

   Extremely happy with approach towards me. Dr Colin was friendly,informative and helpful and I am very glad that I have visited him. Thank you and if I ever have to be back,then it will make me happy that it is you.
