On the plate at Vic's Cafe, the idea is breakfast‑and‑brunch and well judged. Outdoors works when the weather plays along. Eggs land on point and toast keeps its crunch. Service stays present without fuss. Meals reach the pass promptly.

I recently had a annoying experience on Sunday where I was standing at the till waiting to be served, the cashier (a young lady) was at the back chatting away to one of her colleagues and when she finally came to serve me she didn't apologize at all for the delay and didn't seem to even acknowledge me. Not very professional! Otherwise the coffee and food was good

The coffee was great. The cinnamon bun was great. The coffee cream topping is too sweet for me. As it was my first time there, I did know that the cafe also has breads, bagels and cinnamon bun without topping. There are seatings outside and inside is very cosy. Totally recommended the cinnamon bun.

Giving one star because I can’t rate in negative. I ate here this morning. They don’t list allergens on the menu so had to return a sandwich with Sesame. The next sandwich had hair on it and they replaced it too. The replacement also had hair in it! They asked me, β€œhow do I know you didn’t put the hair in it?”. I mean, seriously? I barely even took a bite. What would I get out of placing a hair on a 13.50 sandwich especially when I’ve barely had a bite. Seriously questioning the hygiene here also the service. If you make a mistake, own up to it and don’t accuse the customer.

Looking forward to nutty porridge all year. Check web. It says serving til 2 or 2.30pm. I am thinking yummy! Gets there just after 10am and they have just finished serving at 10am. WT.....! Coffee arrived after the meal. One tasted like they had not changed the coffee grinds and ran a 2nd coffee through the same grinds. We had 2 coffees made together with same milk. So why did one taste like battery acid. Gonna give these a miss from now on.

Old and tiered but the food is nice. Had the big breakfast and some baked goods. The breaky was indeed big. The potato cake was not great and there was no butter for the bread roll.

Dropped by for breakfast and had a really delicious blueberry and cornflake muffin. Yum!

Excellent brekkie. No wonder they have been operating for over 23 years now. Bread made onsite and available for purchase as well
