Best cooked steak I ever had in my life and iv eaten steaks all over the world and the location is pretty good as well
Interestingly decorated but delicious food and friendly and attentive staff. We had steak and salmon dishes, beautifully cooked and tasted fresh!
Came as accommodation was close. Very nice meal and attentive and pleasant service. Was alone first evening, and with a friend second evening of stay in ChCh. Both nights were very enjoyable. Quiet setting, even with many customers. [$35 first night, $17 second night]
Lovely eccentric and cozy atmosphere only let down by having the TV on. Awesome staff, and fantastic food. I had the rib eye, perfectly medium rare and excellent seasoning, with duck fat potatoes. Awesome. Everyone else was also very happy with their food.
Fun place friendly staff and lots to look at and food is good so take some time

Lovely place for a drink and a bar snack. Very family friendly and accommodating. Place was both warm and inviting. Love all the history everywhere, was a great read. Kylie was an absolute superstar, super friendly and makes a great lemon lime bitters pitcher... She's an asset to the company, look after her :)
This restuarant is part of the hotel on papunui Road. Quite expensive for what you get but nice food nevertheless and service was pleasant. We had gone using first table so the price was okay. The bar next to the restuarant was a bit more happening it seemed. I had the lamb which was nice though the soup shot was a bit strange...
