   I came in for dinner as part of a group booking. We were asked to order promptly because there was another large booking scheduled an hour after us. Once everyone ordered, all meals arrived except mine. Everyone at the table began eating, and a few friends started asking whether I had ordered, what I had ordered, and where my meal was. This made me feel uncomfortable. I then had to approach the bar to ask about my meal, which further made me feel embarrassed. A staff member went to check and returned to apologise, saying it would be another five minutes. It appeared my order had been missed or forgotten? By the time my meal arrived, most people at the table had already finished eating, and others were close to finishing. I ended up being the only one eating after everyone else was done. I ordered the spaghetti with chicken meatballs, which was disappointing. The meatballs were hard and chewy, and the red sauce on the spaghetti tasted overly tomato-heavy, with little seasoning or any depth of flavour. I paid approximately $26 for the meal, which I feel did not meet expectations for that price point. Additionally, I paid $9 for a pint of soft drink, which also feels excessive too. Overall, I wish I went for the pizza instead. The staff were professional and handled the situation politely.

   Large selection of pizzas here. The underside crust is not super crispy, and the upper side has a slight dough texture to it. I liked it a lot, but if you're looking for super crispy crust, this isn't it. The service was okay. We had a young girl, not sure if she was new, but was quite slow. It didn't bother us, but it may bother some. She did a great job, just either forgot for a bit, or worked slow a few times. The atmosphere was nice. I really enjoyed all the caricature paintings. They had some local and non-local beers on tap, and bottled, and a large page of gin. If you like gin, they have you covered. I would definitely come here again, as there are a few other pizzas I'd love to try.

   Our visit to Spagalimis was decent overall. We had ordered medium pizzas, but when they arrived at the table, the waitress had accidentally put them through as small. The staff were polite about it and offered to either remake them in the correct size or bring out an extra small pizza, which we appreciated. Both pizzas weren’t on a traditional pizza base. The BBQ chicken pizza had plenty of toppings, though the base was a little soggy. The Al Funghi pizza had a nice flavour but was fairly standard. The bruschetta was quite different from what we expected — the bread was more like a seeded hot dog roll, and the balsamic glaze came more like a dressing that you added yourself. The mocktail was pleasant but fairly average. The overall environment was quite noisy, making it a bit hard to hold a conversation, and it felt more like pub-style vibes. Overall, it was a fine experience, and while there’s room for improvement with some of the dishes and the atmosphere, the service was friendly and accommodating.

   As soon as we arrived we were seated very professionally. We only went in for a snack as we had a voucher for a free small pizza. We ordered a smoked salmon pizza as all the small sizes were the same. It really was quite small. In general the toppings were generous except for the salmon. The cost for each small pizza is $16.50 so quite expensive unless you have a voucher or special offer. It is a lovely location & has a fun vibe. The servers were great & for a Tuesday night it was pretty busy! In a warmer night it would amazing to sit outside among the lights and enjoy being in the city. Very cool place only given a 4 star due to the menu pricing.

   The pizza wasn’t the best I’ve tried but it was good. What I found disappointing was the service, it felt very rushed and impersonal. For a traditional place with family vibes, I wouldn’t have expected such fast food service style.

   My husband and I in NZ from Australia on holiday, and we spent out last night in NZ at Spagalimis. We had the best night and we were so impressed with everything. Firstly the venue is so unique. In a beautiful big house with different rooms and area that you can eat and drink in. The atmosphere is buzzing, We ordered pizzas and they were superb. Especially the salmon pizza. The staff were super friendly and so quick to bring our drinks and food when we ordered. I definitely recommend Spagalimis for not only great food, but also a great experience.

   It looks like yesterday's pizza! I don't get it. I thought spaglimis was reputable. This looks like something that has been warmed up in a microwave and tastes like it equal.
