Delicious!!! Was excited to find a place that is fully vegetarian on their menu and many options vegan friendly too. Delicious Indian cuisine with so many choices to choose from and I found the prices to be quite reasonable as well. The aloo paratha and the dal fry were both very delicious and prepared relatively quickly. Friendly service.

My favourite Indian restaurant in Christchurch. Good food and good prices. They’re sometimes slow to bring out drinks, may depend on the server. But overall I love this place.

Went here mostly for the south indian dishes. The dosa and idly were good. I really didn't like the onion bajji though was very hard to chew it was more like a hard chewy pakoda.

WOW! We found this restaurant by accident while wandering around town. It happened to be during Diwali, and the restaurant was absolutely buzzing with a joyous, constant line of customers that was moving quickly as sweets were flying out the door. It felt like an honour to witness it. The take away menu is clearly marked with vegan options. We ordered the onion bhaji, mushroom pakora, dal tadka, aloo mutter & eggplant korma. The rice was complimentary. The onion bhaji were a little more dense & chewy than I am used to, but all of the food was genuinely delicious and we couldn't fault it. "Medium" heat for the curries was perfect for us, and the containers were generously filled. We'd definitely eat from here again!

A good one. We tried Roshogolla (Rasgulla), Kalojam (Gulabjamun), Dahi-puri (Doi Fuchka) and Chole Bhaturey. We loved the tastes of all the foods. It's very authentic. The sweet items will give you the real (almost) taste of Indian cuisine. It's not full of Kewra & Rose water which is nice. The Dahi-puri was served nicely with 4/5 different sides, full of variations of flavors. The management is a bit down, not attentive to the customers. Serving was a bit unprofessional. Our dishes were served without any napkin/tissue papers. Toilets were not cleaned. The food price is reasonable. A good place to try without spending a lot of money. The location is good, in the middle of the central city of Christchurch. Therefore you may find it a bit tricky to find a convenient place to park your vehicle. Road side parking is not very expensive, $2.00 an hour. Overall experience is good, not bad. We will visit again as we are big fans of Indian sweets. Thank you :)

A welcome find on cold wet public holiday. Excellent service and really good food. We we were too full to try the sweets but they look great. …. next time. Lots of seating. Casual dining. Easy to find with lots of parking around the area.

The food is absolutely delicious! Ordered papdi chaat and gobi manchurian for starter and palak paneer and butter paneer for main. All the food was so tasty and came out fairly quickly. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere is good too with nice punjab music :)

Love coming to this place for a real authentic taste of indian street food and sweets. The service is always quick and courteous. Our server, a young smilng girl, was outstanding. We loved everything we tried. The tea was flavorsome, hot and milky. Samosas, bread pakoras and chana masala eere all outstanding. The textures and the spice level in all the dishes were just perfect. The chutneys complimented the dishes well too. Strongly recommended if you want a flavorsome treat in a casual atmosphere.
