   Felt very disappointed. Joined the gym and had my first session getting my programme on Monday. I was told the programme would be in the cabinet for my next visit. Today being Friday I find no programme and no staff member in the gym to speak to about it. My son went downstairs and was told a staff member would print it out. Again had to wait for anyone to come into the gym to finally get a copy. I chose this gym because I thought it would be the right one for me. Not so sure now

   During my holiday, I utilised the Waitai gym to maintain my fitness. The gym staff are friendly though sometimes the reception aren't consistent with their customer approach, getting charged different amounts as a casual visit, being asked to fill out a form everytime I visit, and then told I don't to fill a form, etc. The gym equipment is basic, and there is a limited amount of machinery to what I'm used to. Peak time must be busy. The casual visit pass enables access to the pool, sauna & spa also which was $15.00. They have a stair lift for accessibility. Overall, the experience has been good.

   Water world has the most outragous customer service ever, On wednesday 28th of September i had paid for a booking for saturday 1st October 2022 for 3pm till 7pm for the studio room with kitchen and bbq, We go to the studio room at 3pm start setting up for our birthday party which was okaay but I head back to reception to request a worker to locate me to my bbq which was meant to be under the shouter but the worker in charged told me the bbq was broken and theres only 2 working which are being used by a family and i have to wait till 5pm to use the bbq if I want it so i requested that I would love a refund which he didnt mind (keep in mind i had it 2hours) so he should oh given me 30.70 back but he only gave me 15.40 change back i asked him for the rest but he said nope so my mouth went off lol he gave it in the end and I told him i was cooking my meat in the kitchen but half way through cooking it smoke went up and we set the fire alarms not our fault though and then they gave us a bbq to use after the alarms went off lol we cooked at 530pm didnt leave te rapa pools building till 830pm ahaha I will never ever book a venue there again poor and the most unprofessional customer service. Fix your services Water world and upgrade you knowledge cause you need it..

   The customer service is pretty slack had a few bad experiences from staff. Not enough space to go into detail in this review. I am on a no contract but get access to gym, aqua & gym classes, pools, spa, sauna & steam room unlimited. But I don't go to the gym as walking up the stairs theirs allot is annoying & the gym equipment is too budget. So I recently joined Anytime Fitness Claudelands to go to their Gym. But I still am keeping my membership due to the aqua classes, pools, spa, sauna & steam room benefits. I would have given this a one star but gave it 2 stars because the aqua classes are good especially the ones in the hydrotherapy pool. I pay $22 weekly for my membership which is totally worth it if you go at least 3 times per week. If you want all the benefits mentioned in this review except the use of the gym, $22 weekly is defs worth it. But would recommend you use another gym for your gym workouts. Unless you don't mind walking up the long stairs & using budget gym equipment & don't mind the gym staff who give bad customer service. Just want to note that the gym staff are different to Waterworld staff. I have generally in the most part had good customer service from the Waterworld staff.

   Very convenient if you want to use pools as well. A good range of equipment and very well laid out. Upstairs are the training machines and a room for fitness classes and down stairs is the weight room. The down side is the stairs. Not the most user-friendly stairs around.
