We came sad but the stools were ripped and uninviting the red haired waitress sophie was lovely she was happy engaging and gave good service I had the lamb it was all good except the jus it was burnt and not palatable, others had calamari rubbery and pale no golden crisp to it.pork chops some had looked shop brought and they wouldn't eat it very dry.we wanted an umbrella but had to get one off a reserved table but we're told we could not have one because someone else asked for it. In saying that he let us have it until the table arrived. I would imagine being summer all tables would have umbrellas .however all is not lost the arancini balls were very nice.needs work guys it can improve with some work.

4 of us for dinner. We were very surprised to see a good range of meals at $20pp - plus other options. We each ordered something different, over both menus. The rib stack was very generous, with a good amount of meat falling off the bones. The cheesy garlic bread was superb. As we had a 90 year old and a school child with us, we especially appreciated the speedy service and fast, food delivery. All up $125 for the 4 of us, including the cheesy garlic loaf and 5 juices / coke. WELL DONE, team. We will be back.

Unfortunately the place is really run down. The menu is boring & only 3 seafood dishes. It's pretty much a pub. The food we got was super tasty. The chefs cook really well, our steak was perfectly cooked. The cleanliness of the bathrooms was non existent they were really grotty. Patches on the floor to cover ? But the patches don't sit flush so is a trip hazard. It's a shame it's so run down as let's the place down.

Food was great and the service is commendable. We went on a Friday evening so it was pretty busy, but we were accommodated very well. Have been here many times before for breakfast and lunch and the service has always been great and the food is really good and served quickly!

The star of the evening was definitely dessert! Oh my goodness, do yourself a favor and order the Molten Chocolate Lava Cake. You will not regret it. Seriously, my husband and I have gone back to this place simply to order that dessert again. But, our first night there we had appetizers, dinner and dessert. We ordered the Cheesy Garlic Bread. Which we liked. My husband does not like soggy bread and we were glad to see it was nice and crispy and just the right amount of garlic. I ordered the spiced chicken salad and really enjoyed it. I ended up taking about half of it home and had a second meal from it. Hubby ordered the oven roasted chicken. It seemed to need a little more flavor, but it was still good, just not amazing. Then of course, the dessert, which was amazing and I can hardly wait to go back and have it again. Every part of it is delicious! We look forward to trying more of their mains the next time we go.

WOW! Very impressed with the service from the moment we walked in off the street. Greeted with a smile and made to feel welcomed by exceptional staff. We ordered a meal each off the $14 lunch menu, and for that price we didn’t expect much. We are blown away. The quality, taste, presentation, portion sizes and a short wait time has made this dining experience the best we have had in years. We will be back whenever we return to Hamilton. What a fantastic place to go. Highly recommend to all. Don’t miss out on this place!

What has happened to food at the Bank. What a absolute discrace. Party of 10. I ordered the ribs $28 comes with ribs only way over cooked barely any meet and totally rock hard dry. I coyld not eat it in fear of swollowing a hard peice of meet and choking. Ribs at the bank used to be amazing. 2 others order the Pasta Carbonara and did not eat it because, no taste at all. Menu has very poor selection. No seafood chower, Disappointed and wont be back sorry. Photos attached are basically what came ribs very little sauce. Disgusting worst ive ever had. I ordered a side of mash patatoe luckily so just ate that.

Had a lunch on weekday. Nice and quiet with open wood burning fire. Good food(carbonara, quesadilla) and coffee with reasonable price. Would love to visit again.

Good value, friendly service. Basic pub menu - my burger was good (would have been excellent if they'd toasted the bun)

Last went to Bank a few years back and it was average, decided to go back for another try recently on a Tuesday 2 for 1 night and so glad we did. Service was friendly and efficient. Burgers were juicy and flavourful, great amount of sauce and not too much salad, perfect amount of fries on the side. Cajun chicken was moist and yum, swapped coleslaw for salad with no issues. Also got the chicken satay which was really creamy and yum - it does contain capsicum which isn't listed on the menu, so just a word of warning if you don't like/can't have capsicum to ask for it without when ordering. For these 4 meals and a jug of soft drink we paid only $71 which is a bargain for a nice dinner out for a family of 4. We will definitely be going back.
