I am extremely disappointed with the way I was treated by a staff member at Skechers - Staff Name Asisi.Her behaviour was not only unprofessional but also shockingly disrespectful. Instead of assisting me or trying to understand my concern, she chose to speak to me in a rude and dismissive manner, which is completely unacceptable for a customer-facing role. Rather than offering any form of help, she repeatedly placed the blame on me for a product that I had purchased from their own store. She showed no willingness to listen, no understanding, and absolutely no basic courtesy. When I mentioned raising a complaint, she arrogantly stated that I βcanβt complain to anyoneβ and that βno one cares,β telling me to βdo my best if I can.β This level of unprofessionalism, lack of accountability, and disrespect toward customers is highly concerning. As a paying customer, I expect fair treatment, proper communication, and responsible service β not rudeness and blame-shifting. Skechers is a reputed brand, and this behaviour does not reflect the standards one expects from such an establishment. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses the staffβs conduct to prevent this from happening to anyone else.

Brought a pair of shoes that were on sale, but they had to come from another store (size 14). I received them four days later, checked the website and found they had been reduced again, so I rung the store to see if they could do a partial refund. Their regional manager emailed me to say that they would not be willing to do partial refund as they did not know that there was going to be another sale on the shoes. The outcome is I will no longer be a customer of Skechers NZ. Poor customer service, A very unhappy customer.

UPDATE: 28/07/2025 - After the response from Skechers 3 weeks ago, I have sent an email as they asked me to, but since had no response, they probably thought I will just leave it and move on, but sorry I'm not gonna just ignore this. Paying around $150 for shoes and it hardly made 6 months! NOT GOOD ENOUGH! Purchased my Skechers Jan 2025, called the base store yesterday explaining its peeling/loosing colour, he told me you have a 6 moths store warranty and to come in today and see the manager, which I did, just to get to the store and the lady saying there is no such thing as a 6 month warranty and that it looks like I clean my shoes with Bleach, why on earth would I clean black shoes with bleach, and if so why would only one shoe fault. Not happy at all.

Very thrilled with the best customer service given by Zach and Cayla. Talked to Zach thru phone about my concern and he was absolutely wonderful. I can even sense his smile while on the phone, even if I wasnβt personally speaking with him. Cayla was amazing as well. She attended to us with a very friendly approach. She made the transaction (exchange of item) so smooth and easy. Keep it up, the both of you!

I don't know the name of the young lady that served me this afternoon but she was great at customer service. Very pleasant and didn't try to push me into buying shoes that were not quite right for me. PS it was the store inside Te Awa not outside

The store was understaffed at 12:30pm on Sunday 14 Feb and we waited for a few mins before loosing patience and leaving the store. Glad there's another Skechers Outlet store at Base, where we finished our shopping.

Great product but customer service wasn't good..Served by Zaria ,as soon as we made the payment her behavior got changed and was rude for answering our questions relating to product. Felt very disgraceful that such a good brand but because of salesperson not able to give 5 star rating.
