   ⭐ 1-Star Review – Extremely Poor Customer Service I had a very disappointing experience at Number One Shoes. I went in to return a brand new pair of footwear that were slipping off my feet and were genuinely unsafe to walk in. This was clearly a health and safety issue, as I could easily have fallen and injured myself. The lady who claimed to be the manager (or was pretending to be one) was extremely unprofessional and showed no regard for customer feedback. Instead of listening to my concerns, she and her male colleague were completely dismissive, insisting that “nothing was wrong” with the shoes. I tried to explain that the product was not fit for purpose, but they refused to acknowledge it. No alternative pair was offered, no solution provided — nothing. They simply declined the refund, leaving me with no choice but to leave the $70 pair on the counter. Shockingly, she kept the shoes without any hesitation. I strongly recommend that anyone looking to buy footwear consider other stores. There are plenty of better options with far superior customer service. Avoid Number One Shoes.

   Store layout was organised, lots of stock in a range of sizes. Found 3 pairs to suit my women's size 13 feet, where often at smaller stores I find none.

   I remember a few years ago, an emo-type girl with dyed hair colour and piercings on her face said, 'Can I help you with something?'. We said 'No, thank you,' and the way she looked at us made me uncomfortable. I was like Can you leave us alone!! JEEZ!!

   Hannahs is a great store but the ladies at the store were no help whatsoever. Didn’t say hi, didn’t give advice. Not a very good atmosphere.

   I took my very elderly Mother into Hannahs at the base. The service was fantastic the young girls were very patient. with an old lady who finds it difficult to buy shoes.
