So sad to get here and find the lovely girls gone. The menu, coffee & service is now nowhere near what it was. I think many of us have lost our favourite little hideout.
New owners (as per about September 2025) who have ruined the menu. Used to be fantastic menu, now it sucks. No more yummie Korean thingies or eggs benedict but broccoli and roasted seeds. Can't wait for them to go out of business and have the Koreans back.
Found this little gem around corner from my motel. Staff were great, friendly and polite. Plenty of space and meals etc brought to your table. Food prepared fresh and coffee was very good too. Plus I got sandwiches to take out ,well filled too. Will be back next trip to Christchurch. Highly Recommended.
I was on a business trip nearby and this was one of the closer places so I ended up trying it. They do have parking outside and do look to have multiple levels of seating but I was just at the bottom as I was getting something for takeaway. There was a fair number of seats in the bottom area. They did have a menu but I opted for cabinet food as I spied a Scotch Egg. They also did have a range of sweet treats, both cold and room temp pastries. I did also grab a hot chocolate and that was ok. The scotch egg was quite nice. The breading on the outside was crispy and the mince was nicely seasoned. The egg yolk was also slightly runny which was nice. It was a bit harder than expected to eat while walking though. It was a nice cafe with quite nicely made food.

Modern café with plenty of seating, offering good coffee, delicious food and great service. My Eggs Benedict with Salmon were delightful -- a decent portion and not too heavy. Would definitely come back here!
Yum. Yum. I ordered chicken MISO grolled eggplane salad and coffee today. It was very nice. Nice food and great service. . Also you can buy Vics bread, and fair trade beans.. highly recommend
