   I really enjoyed the braised beef noodles! It’s a bit salty for me but the broth was extremely flavourful and the meat texture was fall apart! Delicious!! We also got some of the chilli pepper chicken, it’s really nice but again a bit salty (I’m sure you can ask to change that, we didn’t request anything changed) I would recommend for people who can and cannot eat spice as the chilli is dry! Chicken was well fried and didn’t feel fatty Really loved this place, extremely cheap price for the flavour given! 10/10!

   Visited a shop specialising in hand-pulled noodles and tried a few dishes. We ordered the Chicken Cold Hand-Pulled Noodles, a veggie side dish, and a Chinese hamburger. The hand-pulled noodles were chewy and full of flavour. The Chinese hamburger was juicy and satisfying. And the veggie side dish was refreshing and paired nicely with everything. Best of all, the price was very affordable, making the whole experience even better. Overall, a delicious and great-value meal!

   We went there the first time to dine, meal was okay, portion was quite large. Second time I went by myself to have simple lunch and chose noodle soup with lamb soup, pretty average, noodle was not nice like eating flour, lamb strip only a handful. So disappointed. For this reason I gave 3*

   This place serve really good Chinese food. One of their specialty is noodles. Their noodle is thick and super chewy. There are many variation of noodles you choose from. They have other great dishes as well. The portion size is huge for a great price.

   Truly authentic chinese flavor and experience as whole, including the same disengaging and borderline rude service you’d expect from many restaurants in China, and the service is slow, but consider the customer volume at that time, I guess is kinda understandable. The food quality, however, is the next level, it very much resembles the real taste of China, especially the North and Southwest, particularly their exquisite noodles that are absolutely hand made and different from everyone else in town, so darn good! The fish, is okay, nothing too especial.

   We visited The China Wok straight after eating at another restaurant and walking away from there still feeling hungry. So we didn’t order as much as we would normally at a Chinese restaurant but what we did have was delicious and great value. Plenty of people dining at the same time, a great atmosphere. This is our second visit here, definitely recommend visiting. Looking forward to trying the fish next time.

   This restaurant could be one of the best Chinese restaurant in Christchurch. They are really good on spicy food especially thier spicy roast fish. This time I try their new spicy and pickles chill roast fish, which is give me full of supise. Mostly the meal here would be a little be heavy on oil but this time not. Highly recommend !
