The steps are nice and quiet. You can walk up and see the park all around. The stone steps look strong and old. At the top, you can rest and have some ice cream. Good place to take photos and enjoy the view.
The steps look out onto the green lawn and has the Bistro at the top of it. There is a plaque at the bottom level.

A great transition from the lower park grounds to the Kiosk and base of One Tree Hill. A opportunity to take a seat and take in the scenery or if you are a fitness junkie a great place for hill repeates.
It's a beautiful place to sit and relax. Tucked away from the hustle and the bustle of the city, the Memorial Steps and the entire park area around it is a well maintained, open space for anyone to come in and get along with their lives in peace and quiet. Will be back here for some other time in the future, for sure.
