I can't understand the negative reviews posted about this medical centre. I have always had friendly and professional service from all the frontline staff, nurses and both Drs Ahmed and lslam. Maybe the dissatisfied patients need to look at how they are treating the staff themselves.
Be wary of Mr M. Islam who never fails to disappoint with his erraneous anecdotal misdiagnosis, extraneous pescriptions and reluctance to refer you for specialist and/or diagnostic investigation. Been going to MC for 12 years, have given this practice many chances so this has been coming on a long time, much more to rant on about, but insead I think I'll just be going elsewhere from now on.
An awful clinic. Rude, Expensive, they don't listen and just keep talking. Reception is clinically bad.
I highly recommend Dr Simon Mackereth. In my experience, he is exceptional in every way. He takes the time to listen carefully, is outstanding at diagnosing, and always ensures that no detail is overlooked. He goes above and beyond with his follow-up care, which shows his genuine commitment to his patients. Most importantly, he is incredibly caring and compassionate. Without a doubt, I believe he is the best in his field.
Great doctors in a practice managed by awful people. Particularly practice manager Sarah Jones who refused to remove false smoking entries from managemyhealth when all she had to do was go in and correct it. Why?! So goodbye Dr Islam it was a great 20+ years but I will not tolerate being treated like I was. Furthermore I couldn't advise you of this as they wanted another booking and more money. So that's why I left. Sorry.
My wife and I have attended this clinic since we moved to the neighbourhood in 2007 and have always found the doctors (Dr Neela and Dr Islam) to be kind, helpful and utterly professional in every respect. I can't speak highly enough of them and their support staff.
My family of four have been seeing Dr Neela at Maungakiekie Clinic for over a decade. We have always had fantastic service both from the medical professionals and their amazing front of house staff. Big shout out to Tracey! We couldn’t rate this clinic more highly, such care is taken with our kids and we never feel rushed.
