   Kia Ora, it took us hard to find this hospital because it is still new, and we thought we just got sent into this random place but we were in for a great surprise. This hospital is great and treats patients and their whanau well with kindness and respect just like in their own village. The nurses Kevin with his funny jokes, Mikela kind and emphatetic, Sheryl for hearty conversations and Christine for offering us free barista coffee and biacuits, Tee at reception with her calm relaxed vibe, and all staff were very nice to my whanau and set high expectations. 10 STARS!

   I went into Kakariki Hospital last week for surgery with Dr Imran Ali Nurses/ Staff were very professional and friendly. Post op service was great. Good quality of food and nurses checked in on me all the time during my overnight stay, highly recommend Also one of the cleanest hospitals I’ve ever been in! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Post op service was great.    I recently had surgery at Kakariki Hospital and was very impressed with the care I received. The staff were wonderful, friendly, attentive and always ready to help. I felt well looked after from admission to discharge, which made the whole experience much less stressful. Highly recommend their excellent service.

   My partner had surgery at this hospital and the surgery went well thanks to the surgeon and nurses. However, there is one thing I really wanted to leave feedback on the hospital: the reception and communication. My partner was admitted to the hospital nearly 2 hours later than the schedule and another family member and I were not informed what was going with him for several hours until we walked to the reception and asked them about the situation a few times. The surgery was supposed to start early in the morning and we expected to leave the hospital around noon or after lunchtime. But after a long delay, we spent 8 hours there without getting any timely update from the reception. Delays can happen and we understand that. But as a patient's family members, we think we need to know what is happening when there is such delay like that which causes a big concern about our loved family member (patient). Definitely lack of communication. The hospital is +1 year old. If that can improve, this relatively new hospital can be a great private one in Auckland.
