I have been living in NZ for 10 years now and always had worst service at GPs clincin due to long wait times. Fortunately at this time during an utter emergency when my husband was really unwell I came across to this clicin and my experience was amazing. We were looked after well in timely manner, dr followed up for the reports within 24hours and prescribed the treatment in timely manner. Staff at reception was amazing and nurses were also very good and prompt. I am thankfull of entire team and wish them all the best for holiday season. Please keep doing the good work. Now after 10 years atleast we know, where to go in case of any emergency.

Extremely disappointed with the service my partner received at MacMurray in Auckland. - The staff answering the phones are always extremely sassy and rude, making any request sound like a chore and making you regret even bothering to call. After receiving scan results marked as "urgent attention required" they didn't do anything, not even passing them on to the specialist. This added months to the process, especially as the specialist only works one day a week. They didn't reach out about other results, even after we phoned to check if they were received, until a month after the scans were actually sent to MacMurray. These staff are not who should be answering phones on behalf of such a fancy medical practice, they would be more at home answering the phones to Studylink. - Dinesh Lal kept us waiting for an hour and a half after procedures each time before rushing in and barely sitting down to tell us that we need to book a follow up visit to talk about the results before he got up and left again. I know he is probably payed lots of money and wants to cram in as much as he can in his one day of work for the week, but I would expect better care for a private clinic. All that waiting for a 40 second conversation that could have been told by one of the lovely nurses. He only works one day a week, so every extra appointment adds a month to finding out what might be the issue. He dismisses and talks down to patients and does not listen to their concerns. After not finding what he was hoping for, instead of ordering a more specialised MRE like the radiologist suggested, he simply said "come back if symptoms don't improve". My guy, the symptoms have been getting worse and worse for a year now, hence seeing you. A response like this is akin to washing your hands of the matter, whereas we would have expected to be referred to another gastro who has a different knowledge base. - The dietitians and nurses were all absolutely fantastic, they went above and beyond and were a real credit to the place.

The whole team were amazing. Procedure explained thoroughly and my wife was taken on time as per appointment. Support person was also looked after being offered tea/coffee, sandwiches/biscuits. Parking easy too.

Louise is the worst nurse I've ever met. Rude, no manners and not a shred of empathy. She'd hang up the phone when I'm still talking, cut me off mid sentence and was even rude to my mother who asked questions when I was in surgery. When I asked her about pain management she spoke down to me like I was stupid. She doesn't belong in the health field. I don't know what possessed this clinic to hire her.

Incredible service and impeccable competence and attention to their patients need. Was a big wait to get in despite having an appointment, they were probably behind, but a call before arrival would have been deeply appreciated.

The first time in a long time I have felt genuinely heard or taken care of in a medical setting. Thank you to all of the staff, you do wonderful work.

The clinic runs like a well-oiled machine. Everyone is super professional and kind. The doctors instill confidence and obviously know what they are doing. The facilities are beautiful, brand new and ultra clean. Even the complimentary coffee is a grade.

There is nothing more that I was ever scared about than being probed (for better words) and boy was it a nightmare leading up to it, haven't been so scared in my life before as this is the first ever real medical thing I've ever had done. These guys were absolute GOLD - and I can't thank them enough for making such a scary process seem like nothing at all. Reception was lovely, the nurse that took me into a side room and explained everything was lovely, and hard case I thought it was awesome how she cheered me up about it all she was awesome. The two nurses in the procedure room were choice, and funny which made me a hell of a lot more comfortable about what was going to happen, and the doctor that did the procedure was great too, and very informative about it all. I was knocked out for the procedure which was choice, glad for that. When I came too the care was great, and you even get some sandwiches and a cup of tea for your trouble!!! all in all thanks to everyone there I was being such a wuss right up until the procedure and you guys made it all into almost nothing and it was over in no time. Best to get checked out, and while it's a scary ideal a colonoscopy ain't that bad as I found out, and to be honest the worst thing is the drink before - and even then I liked that as it made me feel well and truly cleaned out, suffering from some serious stomach aches as it was. Thanks so much, I won't be such a baby if I have to come in again in the future! your team is a credit to the name and the clinic, thanks again.
