Awful service from start to finish. The Coke was spilled, portions were laughably small, and the prices were far too high. If I’d known $14 only buys you the smell of food, I would’ve gone elsewhere.
We ordered 2 sausage and egg McMuffins on the weekend, we received them without the eggs. We had to wait for the food and drink (which was poorly made - the mocha was very watery). We discovered the missing eggs on the road and couldn't turn back as we were late (due to being made to wait). I returned 2 hours later to address the inaccurate order and was told that I should have saved the McMuffins for them to check before they can do anything about it. So basically, make my kids miss breakfast to prove that they made a mistake. They also didn't give receipts and so we had no record except for the points in the app. Quite disappointed. We usually get great breakfast and coffees on weekday mornings here, but clearly - the weekend crew isn't very capable. I am especially frustrated that the "manager" could have addressed this but refused to.
Every time I've been through the drive through, we've been required to wait and pull over to receive our order. Then you have to run the gauntlet of how long you're waiting, and whether you'll receive the right order. Think we've only received the right order once. In the year we've been going there. Not really fast food and if you're in a hurry, probably better to go in store, or go to Silverdale. Definitely some improvements to be made at the Whangaparoa store.
Title: Poor Management and Unpleasant Atmosphere I have visited this McDonald’s several times, and unfortunately, the environment here feels very negative compared to other McDonald’s franchises. The owner often comes across as rude, not only towards customers but also towards staff and delivery drivers. Shouting seems to be a regular occurrence, which creates a very unpleasant atmosphere. It is noticeable that staff turnover is quite high, as there always seem to be new faces. The team members do not look happy, and it makes me wonder why there isn’t a system in place to monitor staff wellbeing and turnover within the franchise network. I have been to other McDonald’s locations where the environment is far more professional and welcoming, both for customers and employees. Sadly, this store falls well below that standard

Still slow in the drive though when not busy. Has improved over the past year. Sometimes no ice in drink. Has a guy who works drive though who is very on to it and communicates clearly and is saving the place
the food is good when we get it, but this is the fifth time we’ve tried to uber eats food from here. every single time, without fail, items are missing from our order. we thought maybe uber drivers were stealing our food but today we were given the wrong drink entirely as well as half our order missing. so frustrating
Did the self ordering, got the order number 114, and it's a little thing, sauce to go with your nuggets, but what's the point of offering this if you either don't get what you select or in this case tonight you just don't get it at all. Really how hard is it to read the screen and put what your reading into the bags, we have done have the job for you by doing the self ordering. This shop is just getting worse over time
10 minute wait at drive through. No one in front of me. Worker on his phone. Finally got my order and burger patties were burnt and food was cold. Was just yuck start to finish. Do not recommend
