   Terrible Experience Unprofessional, Disrespectful & No Care for Pacific Islander Customers I’m writing this with deep frustration and disappointment over the way my disabled mom and I were treated at Noel Leeming Papakura. What we experienced was not just poor customer service, it was a clear lack of professionalism, empathy, and cultural respect, especially towards Pacific Islander customers. We purchased a laptop for my mom who needed it for her Zoom classes and were promised it would arrive within 2–3 weeks. We waited patiently and received no communication or updates. After weeks of silence, we were finally emailed by the aftercare team informing us the laptop wouldn’t arrive until November 7th, long after it was needed. When we tried to get answers, the Papakura team had no idea, no urgency, and showed no accountability. It became obvious that once the sale was made, they no longer cared. Not one apology. Not one genuine attempt to make things right. The only person who showed professionalism and empathy was Hardik from the Customer Care Team. He actually listened, went out of his way to give us a proper update, and helped relieve some of the stress. He’s the only reason this review isn’t even more severe. At the last minute, the store tried to offer us a different laptop but by then, the damage was done. We had lost all trust. We made it clear we wanted nothing more to do with them and requested a full refund still with no apology or ownership from the store. What’s worse, the lack of disabled access (no proper parking or support), and the way my mom a disabled Pacific Island woman was ignored, while other (non-Pacific) customers were given assistance right to their cars, was hard to ignore. We were made to feel invisible and unwelcome in a store that’s meant to serve the community. Let me be clear !!!!!! Noel Leeming Papakura does not treat all customers equally. Their in-store team shows no sense of aftercare, cultural awareness, or moral responsibility. It’s about sales not service. And if you’re from a minority background, be prepared to fight for the respect and service that should be a given. We will never return to this store, and I urge others especially Pacific and other minority families, to take your money elsewhere. You deserve to be treated with fairness, respect, and dignity. Do better, Noel Leeming Papakura.

   Jaymis is very helpful. Knows how to serve the customers really well. Unfortunately got my first TCL TV Completely dead on arrival. Jaymis helped replacing it with a brand new one from Ormiston branch. It’s about human connection, not just business.

   Awesome communication. Experienced a fault with my TV and the staff were incredibly helpful. Unfortunately the tech took weeks to make contact but the team in store kept in contact with me the whole time and really pushed for the tech to get onto it. Tv is finally sorted and the team called to make sure everything went well.
