   Took PS4 in to have HDMI socket replaced on Oct.11th.2022 & was told shld be ready in 2or3 days,finally able to pick it up (after excuses) on Nov.1st. & was told they were unable to fix it & returned my muni. It was originally working ok, but pulled HDMI cable out to shift furniture then found it had the "problem" that many other users have had, & had fixed sucessfully. Won't be back!!

   I had some work done on my ageing mac over a year ago now. I went in with hard drive issues. They had also done some other work in the past. Now the thing that really angered me was during a repair they removed my 8 gigs of ram (I had bought the 8 gigs ram from Oz originally) and replaced it with 4 Gigs ram not telling me anything. Samuel did the repair. I contacted the owner after I checked the specs on the machine. The owner had Samuel look into it. Sam had no explanation as to why I was shorted my ram chips. He ended up replacing the chips with an 8 and a 2 chip. Not very long after the work had been done. The hard drive failed again and I took it to another business in Pt. Chev. as I moved from South Auckland. The tech said that the hard drive was a second hand drive (because of the bad sectors that had been wiped) that had failed losing some of my files and had the words "good" were written on it. Soon after that the replaced ram caused trouble and had to be replaced. The tech told me macs should have matching ram. My ex had her 2014 laptop in there was told they were having trouble replacing/lining up the graphics card months later keep putting her off and said they were working on it. To my understanding she never got her nice mac laptop back. Given hard drives do fail I will accept that can happen but the Ram was unacceptable and now considering I am now back to 4 gigs I am very angry. Sounds like a bait and switch job. Now working on computers you would think they would put each machine into a box or bag having a way to keep all the parts together to prevent mix-ups if it was accidental. So now around $900 later I am back to a functioning mac. If ever you ever get your hard drive replaced make sure it is NEW and not off another machine. Really they should have given me proper replacement ram-which I knew little about at the time-that was shady. This time I had a solid state drive put in.
