   ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We recently had a party at Hunters Inn Sports Bar and it was absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, perfect for celebrating with friends and family. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly – super friendly and attentive throughout the night. Food and drinks were delicious, and the service was fast even though the place was busy. Everyone had a great time, and we’ll definitely be coming back for more events. Highly recommend Hunters Inn for parties, gatherings, or just a fun night out!

   I came here with high expectations after reading great reviews, but unfortunately, my experience was far from it. The food was a big letdown — the wedges were the worst I’ve had, and the chicken nibbles were even worse. They were still raw inside and drenched in sauce, seemingly to cover up the undercooked meat. Not only did the food look unappealing, it tasted that way too. Service was slow and unorganised. There were only 3–4 staff working, but no one seemed clear on their role, and everything felt careless and lacking effort. As a Bar/Restaurant Manager myself, I can’t help but point out that this place needs a lot of work. The drinks menu is very limited for the prices being charged, and if you’re going to price your spirits high, at least pour a proper 45ml into the mixes. On top of that, my wife found the toilets in a very unpleasant, dirty state — clearly not being checked or cleaned regularly. Lastly, to Eekay — please stop asking customers for reviews every time they order at the bar. If you want good reviews, focus on creating a good customer experience. The constant reminders came across as pushy and annoying, especially when the basics weren’t being delivered. Overall, very disappointed.

   We recently used the Hunter Inn garden bar/function area to host a farewell party. The space itself was lovely — airy, comfortable, and the outdoor feel made it great for those who vape or smoke. That was probably the highlight of the night. Unfortunately, the food and service really let the experience down. The presentation of the food was below standard — bar snacks are usually plated nicely, but here it felt careless. More concerning, the chicken we ordered was undercooked and raw in several pieces, which made it completely inedible and unsafe. The drinks service was also disappointing. Their selection of RTDs, wine, and spirits was limited, and drinks were oddly served on dining plates rather than trays. Although there was a bar booth in the private area, it wasn’t in use, so we had to keep going back to the main bar to order. Even then, drinks were repeatedly given to the wrong tables, causing confusion. On top of that, it would be appreciated if staff could relax on repeatedly asking for reviews while we were just trying to buy drinks — it came across as pushy and took away from the experience. Overall, while the venue itself is a nice spot, the food and service need serious improvement before I’d consider hosting another function here.

1. The Review ★★★★☆

   Good place to go for a few games of pool. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Live dj (DJ STRAIGHT-ABOUT) is good at keeping the crowd happy and an awesome guy to talk to. Plenty of car park out back and restrooms are nice, clean, and tidy. Food selection has a decent amount of options that I found fairly good priced. The platter was a good variation of deep-fried goods that tasted good for what it was. Has karaoke nights, couple pool tables, dart boards, small stage area (karaoke area) and plenty of bar tables, bar stools, table and chairs for a few crowds. Big screen for sports and had the good old slots area.
