    I waited 45 minutes for a cheeseburger and a hash brown this morning. There was other people in there waiting for over an hour for a simple meal. Hire more people, there are so many teenagers looking for jobs at the moment!!! Even when my food came out it was barely even warm. When my friend went to eat her burger there was a little black hair in it aswell.

    I've occasionally come here over the last year or two it's been open mainly out of curiosity to see if the service or food improves and every time I regret it. It's almost at this point like I enjoy punishing myself? Unbelievable slow drive through, zero urgency for anything let alone the speaker window time between pull up and when a human speaks. Can see the staff in the kitchen pacing around phones in hand most of the time. Food is the usual standard I come to expect from McDonalds no mark down there I guess...

    Our family went through the drive thru. Very friendly speaker, great service! BUT we asked what flavour soft drinks there were and they told us all of it. We ordered went through and payed. And as we pull up to the window to grab the food they told us they had none of the many flavored we ordered. Quite disappointing. So we got refund.     Restaurant service is here always extremely slow as they seem to prioritise their drive through customers. They always appear short staffed, and the staff they do have, try to avoid serving you at all costs. I always have to request fresh fries as otherwise they are served lukewarm. Today my cheeseburger had a thick smearing of grease or something on both buns, which made it inedible. The fries had no salt and were tasteless. Overall disappointing experience all round.

    Nearly empty yet the wait time was around 15 minutes... for a combo meal, tables had crumbs and papers/receipts lying all over the floor. The food looked pathetic, I understand its a fast food restaurant but even the maccas on queens does a better job.

    We got a large and medium fries with our combos and the medium wasn’t completely full and the large had the same amount as the medium. I expect to get what I pay for.

    The restaurant was quiet and the tables were dirty. My order took 20mins, so I asked where it was, they had given it to someone else. I have visited 3 times and every time the chips have been under seasoned and under cooked. The burgers stale and/or cold with barely any sauce. I thought that maybe the 1st time when they were bad, that that was a one off, so I tried again(still bad) and again today, bad again. So, nope, never wasting my money here again.

    Well, it's not as bad as Maccas Orewa, but that's not saying a lot. It's still the opening weeks, but the QSC is severely lacking. Hopefully this gets better overtime. Stuff was missed from our order, some stuff was provided incorrectly. There was not enough managerial staff on to deal with it, with a guy clearly not meant to be here helping out (not wearing a uniform) - that said he wasn't very helpful, walking away in the middle of helping me. The seating area is small with lots of just 2 seat tables which leaves a lot of people wandering around looking for extra chairs. There's 12 ordering stations which moves the queue from the ordering line to the waiting for food line. I think there were about 8-10 groups waiting when we were there. As an aside, someone mentioned about charger ports. Don't ever plug your devices into random, public USB ports!

    Waited 40 minutes for order yesterday then had to leave without our order. There were still about 8 people in front of us waiting (in store). Waited 15 minutes at counter for someone to cancel my order and refund but no one came. I think they were prioritising drive through customers else car queue would have been way down the road. Ended up gifting our $50 food order to someone else in the queue so the food wouldn’t be wasted. The staff were doing their best, just not enough staff to meet the lunchtime demand.

    The long waited McDonald’s Silverdale is finally here. First impression; convenient location, plenty of parkings, dine-in and Drive-Thru, double lane Drive Thru, big indoor playground to make the kids busy. The building is still new so it will understandably take time for everything to work out. Staff know what they are doing despite it is in its second day opening. I made a special order to see if they miss anything and they did not. So I give it 10/10 score. I will keep reviewing and update. Thank you McDonalds for opening this branch.
